I spoke with a Tesla Ranger yesterday. He said that, once my VIN comes up, I will be "invited" by email for the cameras upgrade. At about the same time, the app will add the cameras as an upgrade option. I am Canadian, and guessing that this will be a many month long wait.

It was the car filming this event, not a person. He was playing back the footage on his car screen. That said, when I have used Smart Summon on my MX, I watch that thing like a hawk. It's extremely unlikely that I would have hit that tree.

Why do you need to be careful with the warranty with low mileage?

Sorry, for some reason my alerts to TMC stopped. It has worked PERFECTLY since I installed Dec 19, 2019. The most useful accessory I’ve ever had for a vehicle! Such a game changer! It worked in snow/ice as well, not one failure or misfire! :)

Great question! I had not covered that in my video. To make sure, I just ran out to test it. You’re right, the Close All button on the centre screen does not close it. Interestingly, the Close All button does not even appear if only the frunk is open.

I have exactly the same problem at a rental house I’m using. Did the same things. Tried two different dedicated circuits.

Mine worked decently on our street (public road), and worked perfectly in a large parking lot.

Lol! Call the Tesla main number I guess. Do it while you are at the shop though, as your slightly older car than mine (only 2 months older) might be one that needs to be uncorked at the Service Centre. Note that in my experience, uncorking is free.

Same thing, I’ve got 6-seater, white, all 100D options except for the wheels, but as described, I’ve got the 19” winter rims on now, with Nokians, I weigh 5 lbs more, and no passenger. I’m guessing the 19” wheels with tires are lighter. I am certain that the my foot started down to the floor...

Congrats! You can just ask them to ensure it’s uncorked.

This doesn’t seem possible. Pre-uncork, I think I was getting c. 4.75s 0-100kph. Maybe double check with a stopwatch? I have nothing to speak of in my trunk or frunk, by the way (mobile charger, tow hitch, that’s about it).

I’ll check for it next time I’m in the vehicle.

Good question. Where would I find that? On the trip meter page? My real-time tracking doesn't appear to track this. I have an "Auxilliary Load" value of 0.13kW, and 2.28kWh used for my 10.7km trip, but I don't think that's going to help answer your question.

That problem was fixed in 2017.42. I’m very happy with this now. Even better would be for the MX to allow me to autosteer above 70kph on the 80kph highway leading from Kingston ON to my home. I’m unable to use autopilot at the proper speed on this portion of the road.

I have not checked my vampire loss since about 2017.34 I think it was. I should have specified that. Whatever it is, your MX is under warranty, it’ll get fixed, whether it’s a f/w or h/w problem.

I typically get 7.5 miles (12km) loss every 24 hours on my 2017 Model X, if that helps. I’d be pretty upset if I lost 18 miles per day!
