Good question. I don't think it's an option, but rather based on what your car accepts? May be there is a hardware difference after all between older and newer cars? Mine is a June/2017 build. You can ask your SC and let us know. Good luck!

Bring it back. I spoke w/ my SC about my car showing P3, and they performed the procedure again. He confirmed it is now showing P1, and my run log confirms the performance gain.

Is there any documentation from Tesla that states what "uncorking" actually does? Increased 0-60 time? Increased power output, etc? I just got my car "uncorked." And...not a damn thing changed. I logged my 0-60 performance before and after, and they both show 6 seconds, 383 HP, and 285 max...

Ordered MX75D 5/7 (after 10 minute test drive), confirmed 5/14, just got a call from Tesla yesterday my car will go into production in a week and expect delivery 6/15-20. Can't wait!

True, I drive about 20K miles a year on my commute. We have an Odyssey and a 911 that can now semi-retire to weekend car status. I'm sure we'll find excuses to get in the X as well.
