    Regen Sometimes Not Working?

Not unless the battery is almost full or too cold like @Tam stated. I see that you joined the forum a few months ago - I am not sure how long you have owned the car so I might be pointing out the obvious, but if you see yellow dotted lines on the energy meter, regen is limited. Everything you...

Would you give up free supercharging for life?

In the two years I have owned my car, I have supercharged maybe 10 times. At this point, it's just bragging rights - I have probably said "I can drive my car anywhere in the US without spending a penny on fuel cost" more times than I have supercharged! I wasn't planning on upgrading the car for...

Price increases 3/18. Will FSD option go up as well?

Design Your Model S | Tesla That has the price back up at 5k before/7k after delivery. Like others, on the fence on whether to spend the $2k. I do plan on keeping the car for the next several years, so I am leaning towards it.

FSD Upgrade Price reduced from $5K to $3K in MyTesla Page for Model S

There is it: Tesla is bringing Autopilot prices ‘back to normal’, Elon Musk admits mistake I guess I have until this weekend to buy it at the $2k price then. I don't see anywhere what the new "back to normal" price will be on 3/18..

FSD Upgrade Price reduced from $5K to $3K in MyTesla Page for Model S

It will be a lot easier to sell a 2k upgrade to the wife. I hadn't even brought it up with her when the price was 4k (and then 5k) because it's very likely she would have told me to just drive the damn car. I do feel bad for those that paid for it though...and all the flip flops is hard to...

    19" Tire Recommendation

No scratches, but I somehow didn't realize that they had installed those green valve stem caps until I got home. I would have rather kept my metallic looking ones.

    25k 2nd Year Service $750.. Wow

I am in the process of going through older posts on how people handled scheduled service. I have a long commute and drive a lot of miles. I did the first service 10-11 months after I got the car, with 22k miles on the car. I have 42k on it now (20 months since delivery) and want to schedule...

    19" Tire Recommendation

My stock Goodyears (I think) lasted 33k or so miles on my S75 could have stretched it for a couple of thousand miles, but winter was coming. Replaced them with Michelin Primacy MXM4's and have no complaints so far and haven't really noticed a big difference in ride quality or noise etc. I am no...

question about 2016 S75 rwd uncorking

My June 2017 S75 can't be uncorked. I think the cutoff was somewhere around July 2017.
  15. Langhorne

    75 or 75D?

I have a June 2017 S75 that can't be uncorked. Wish I had bought a 75D. Oh well. Love the car, but still bugs me.
  16. Langhorne

    Is this a good deal?

My $0.02 is that I wouldn't buy one with out atleast AP1. You might think "Well, I prefer actually driving my car", but now that I am used to having AP2, I wouldn't have it any other way. That might be why the car is not selling, rather than the sunroof or ripped seat.

Navigation sharing from Google Maps App - am I crazy?

I have my 5 and 7 year old backseat DJs riding in the car with me frequently, and they yell "next!" or "louder!" every few songs . When I get sufficiently annoyed, I just hand them my phone with the app turned on and tell them to do it themselves.

    The "GOOD IDEAS" thread

    Radar Detector Mount

I have a Uniden R2 mounted to the left of the rear view mirror and a dashcam and EZ Pass tag to the right - both the R2 and EZ pass appear to be working fine (June 2017 build), but I haven't really tried the R2 on another car for comparision though. Another WiFi Bad Actor - SOLVED - Wink Home Control

Oh man! I also use Veraplus as my primary hub. I have mostly zwave devices but do have several GE Link zigbee bulbs that I was controlling with the old Link hub (not Wink). A couple of days ago I got an error message I had never seen before. Home wall charger installation

I called two different electricians that were recommended by Tesla for quotes on installing a 14-50 outlet in my garage. I think one quoted me something like $800 and the other $1000. I called the electrician/sub contractor that did the original wiring for our development, and he did it for...

    Rebadge my model s

I have a S75. I considered debadging, but like the OP felt it would look like I was trying to "hide" that it was a mere 75. If I do get a 100D someday (or maybe 130D or 200D by the time I get it!) , I will definitely do it for that clean look.

    Software Update 2018.18

My car used to do the ping pong dance (i think it was on .14 then though). I was in crawling traffic coming to work this morning, and didn't do it. I got the .18 release a couple of days ago. The only odd behavior I noticed was this: I was on the right lane and right where an on-ramp meged into...

Sure does feel like AP parity now

Ah, thanks! Exactly what I was experiencing. While my car was doing that, I couldn't decide if I wanted the car behind me to think whether I was simply bad at driving, or if I was one of the "racer" types that weaves in the lane when the car infront of them doesn't go fast enough for them :D

Sure does feel like AP parity now

Was driving on the PA turnpike this morning in heavy heavy traffic. When the traffic was at a very slow crawl, my car did something I hadn't seen it do before - it started weaving within the lane heavily to the point where it would get very close to the car in the next lane at times. It could...

Response time of Tesla roadside service is totally FUBAR

My wife and son were driving from Philly to Baltimore on Friday (03/02), and they got stuck in traffic for over 2 hours because the bridge on I-95 (the one between MD and DE) was closed due to high winds. All of I-95 traffic was apparently detoured to Route 1 and had to go over a single lane...

    Winter range anxiety

So if i turn on the heat while I am driving, is the temperature I set directly proportional to the energy use, as in the heater runs hotter, or is the energy use constant regardless of whether i set the temp to 70 or 80 (and the heat runs for longer until the target temperature is reached)...

    When does it get old?

Not only has it not gotten old for me (only 13k miles in though), it has kind of spoiled me. Took our Honda Odyssey van over thanksgiving from Philly to Boston and back (because it was 4 adults and 2 kids). Things to note: 1) I got honked at twice and probably cussed at several more times...

    Uncorking for RWD 75 (Non-D)

Add me to the list. S75, 06/03 production date, 06/16 delivery date. I called my local svc and was told my car did not qualify. I was also told that my car did not need the update and will run fine without it (she wasn't rude or anything.. She was just trying to reassure me).

Anyway to disable rear seltbelt warning?

I leave the middle one bucked in all the time as well. I bought a couple of seat belt extenders (because it is next to impossible for kids to do it with the flush design) and those suppress the alerts as well.
