I had a similar incident exactly as the OP stated and it was early morning and going East so I believe sunlight cause the AP to not read the surrounding correctly. I contacted SVC and they said both an engineer and the technician will be looking into this.

With the upgrade to drive unit, battery (85 software limit to 75?), air suspension, sunroof and auto rear liftgate being standard, I would say it's more difficult to sell a 75 or 60 today than maybe a few months ago before the price change in April and all those upgrade announcement.

With the power liftgate being standard most people think the PUP is not worth it. Also for HEPA filter you need max air to work so it consume more power. FYI, I didn't get PUP with my MS that's before the power liftgate was standard
