Yeah, I was afraid to spray it directly on the air filter so I removed it and sprayed in the duct behind the air filter. Let me know how it goes if you do it. I think I might try this either this weekend or July 4th weekend.

I did something similar to my P85 Model S when I still had it, the smell wasn't too pleasant but it wasn't a vinegar smell. I removed the air filter, cleaned all of the dust out off the plastic housing and set the fan to blow at full speed. Then I sprayed it with lysol for about 15-20 seconds...

I get the same vinegar type smell on my 2016 Model X. I'm tempted to remove the cabin air filter and spray Lysol and leave the air running for a few minutes.

1B gave me the same problem in my wife's model 3. I took the car to go from Austin to Katy last month and after supercharging, it would not disconnect. I felt like I was taking crazy pills. I had to google how to access the manual release cord since that was the first time it happened to me.
