Thought I'd follow up on this thread now that it's 3 years later. The car now has 67k miles and reported 263 miles of range at full charge yesterday. Haven't hooked up to scanmytesla again lately but I am glad to see the estimated range hasn't degraded too fast.

Sure looked like metal to me. I suspect that the original rotors had some type of material defect and/or the calipers didn't return properly at some point in the past. I intend to clean and lube them properly to avoid that going forward.

I measured run-out on the rotors and they're definitely warped. And so what if I like the look of drilled and slotted rotors? If they crack, I'll deal, but that would be surprising on an electric.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm particularly interested in the 100 packs but for another apples to oranges comparison, my 2013 S 85 only indicates about 4% degradation after 65,000+ miles and 6 years. I would have expected the 100 kWh pack to be better if anything.

May have a local buyer but until that goes through, pics attached. The edges may look a little wonky right now from sitting in a pile since the accident but they're in perfect condition. The wipe down I did on the trunk mat shows up dark but it isn't stained.

Actually I was told by the new England OA that the most recent update (as of about 1 week ago) is that you can't ship your CPO purchase. They must be picked up in person. Too many people paying for and shipping cars only to find they weren't happy with condition upon arrival.

Also, I think the executive rear seats are not useful to many people.

Those appear identical to the gen 1 classic seats in my 2013 car. If you take a look at the link, it shows a picture of what they refer to as next gen seats.

This doesn't seem quite right. "Next gen" seats were available on late 2014 and 2015 cars (see this current CPO offering for instance: Inventory Search | Tesla). Is it possible that you're calling the "gen 3" seats next gen when you mean to say that of "gen 2" seats?

I've been told by an OA that standard practice is to offer 4 yr/50k warranties on cars less than 4 years old and under 50k miles when listed. Obviously there are exceptions

My wife and I bought an s85 shortly after our first child arrived and we love it. I have driven a 3 as well and though it's nice and the efficiency is great, we need all the room the S has to offer. The hatchback design is much more useful for carrying stroller + pack and play + changing pad etc...

Next gen seats on the 85d would be a deciding factor for me. They're much nicer than the original seats.

21 refers to the diameter. Length is 70mm, up from 65. Your point is valid but the extra space may be there to allow for possible dents or tolerance stackups.

Can you share which car it was you turned down and for what reasons? Presumably they will list it up again and you might help somebody else avoid disappointment.

Intercity every time. They own their own trucks (not a broker) and their drivers are pros.

I'm aware of those factors but the weird thing to me is that I have received email alerts for these very same cars multiple days in a row and they continue to appear on ev-cpo listings but they have not been available on the Tesla site ever for me. For instance, see p61016 or 080526
