Wow,,,interesting. What is the max output supposed to be for old-75D? My uncorked 75D is generating over 300 kW yet the dashboard energy gauge is displaying only up to 200 kW. I guess the post 7/1/2017 75D will have the gauge displaying 300 kW + ?

It's not based on your VIN. I believe it's based on your production date (Production date of 6/19/2017 or later).

When I got mine uncorked at SC, they did reinstall firmware 2017.28 c528869 which was already installed in my car. This tells me SC had performed some kind of update then reinstall the standard firmware.

Sorry, it started the production on 6/19/2017 and completed in 6/21/2017. So the build date is 6/21/2017.

According to the service invoice, Walter Floresguerra was the service advisor. Try to get hold of him. Feel free to reference my Invoice Reference Number. My invoice clearly shows the uncorking was done to my 75D and I have much better performance now.

Good point. I would not mind not getting the Enhanced Performance if my Insurance Rate can be lowered. Why don't you call the SC in Costa Mesa, CA and have them call your SC to explain about the uncorking. That's where I got my uncorking done 2 days ago. Funny, not everyone at the SC knew...

Check with Tesla Service. They will tell you if you are flagged for the uncorking or not.

Don't think this upgrade is possible OTA. If your car (I am not so sure about 75 since my car is 75D) was built after 6/17/2017, you should be able to get it. You would need to make an appointment at a service center for it. When you make the appointment, just tell them you need to Uncork...

Just dropped off my 75D (build date 6/21/2017 and VIN 205xxx) at Tesla Service. They will be updating ("uncorking" ) my Firmware (which is not available OTA) for the enhanced performance. Let's see what happens.

I was told that the cut off date was 6/19/2017 (build date). They will tell you what your build date but will not tell you if you have the new hardware on not.

According to my Tesla contact, the firmware is not out yet.

I do have DU00 and 17.26.76 Firmware. No performance improvement yet..0 to 60 is still in 5.4 second range.
