I would suggest not calling Tesla until you have a person assigned. If you don’t have someone assigned you are likely to get a canned response. When they call, be ready to confirm your information and discuss delivery dates and locations. It seems like they will call first and e-mail if you...
The last time I was there they had a red Model S (and the radio flyer one). They are also open so you can drop off a service car or pick up a loaner. It is a much quieter store and most of the colors of cars are in the parking lot.
I would like to apologize to people who got their deliveries pushed back...

I agree. Drive the speed limit and you should be fine. If you are cutting it too close, there is an 20kW charger at Sweetwater right outside of Fort Wayne.
I’m on Indiana Michigan Power. My wife and I both work so no one is home during the day. I watched the meter after it was installed and before we got the car and the cost was about the same for the house alone. The car costs a third as much to charge. We drive our S about 30k miles per year...
Here they replace your meter with one that separates daytime during the week and evening and weekends. For us the off peak is definitely worth it. We use about 300kWh on peak and 1 MWh nights and weekends per month.
Anyone else on Indiana Michigan Power move to time of day electric rates? I posted information on the Fort Wayne Supercharger thread. My S uses more energy than my house so it is worthwhile for me.
I’m glad to know who gets cars next. First production for owners, then first production for non-owners, AWD, then SR and base interior. It looks like everyone is disappointed in the ramp up, Tesla included. It also looks like only First production will be available for the full tax credit as...
I did get an e-mail the day after I could configure online... I’m not patient enough to wait for the e-mail, but I am patient enough to wait for standard range and non-black interior. I do wonder if Tesla will open up more options to owners or first production to non-owners. As Troy said, we...
I logged in and noticed I can configure. I didn’t get an email. I’m a model S owner in Indiana and reserved on April 20th. I believe the end of Tesla owner reservations in the US is near.
I just had what looks to be the same issue on our 2014 S85 with Autopilot. Did everyone else get new drive units? We were slowing to a stop when this issue happened.
There will be a Tesla meet up at Applebee's (6525 Lima Road, Fort Wayne) at 4 pm on Sunday, September 17 next to the completed Supercharger. We can share Tesla stories, and meet owners and prospective model 3 buyers, and fill up our cars. I would be happy to answer any Tesla related questions...
I stopped by last night and the electrical contractor stated they were pulling power after the strip mall closed. I stopped by this morning and there was a guy in a Tesla hat and new looking S flipping switches. I'll stop by later and see if it is working.
Fort Wayne is nearly complete as well. The meter is still dark but approved by the county today. I would also guess Tesla will set them up at the same time.
There are no additional light fixtures up. The meter does have an inspection approval sticker dated today from Allen county so it is moving along. I think power needs turned on and Tesla needs to stop by, approve installation, and number the stalls.
I stopped by over lunch today and they were putting the fence panel on and had all the bollards opened up. Today may be the last day of general construction.
I stopped by over lunch today and saw a single person taking apart one of the bollards. I asked him if he knew when it would be finished. He was very friendly and said he had no idea. My guess is he was doing quality control. The next things to look for are the meter being on and reading more...
Here is a picture. Solar would be great but the panels would probably face east or west. I am also very interested to see what kind of canopy this will become.
I figure if you use the same amount on peak as off peak you come out even. In July we used 325 kWh in peak and 1647 off peak so I know where I stand. Our Model S gets about 3 miles per kWh and a Model 3 should get 4.
It's probably not a very common rate.
Residential Time of Day (R.S - TOD) is what I have. On peak is Monday through Friday, 7 am to 9 pm. Off peak is nights and weekends. Our Tesla wakes itself up at 2 am every day to charge...
That is exactly what I moved to. Everyone goes to work/school during the day (I also don't run the heat or AC either) so the house uses about 200 kWh on peak and 200kWh off so the house is a wash vs the flat rate plan. We drive a lot so the Tesla is about 600kWh all at night. This rate plan...
I'm an engineer, like watching construction, and this charger is near my work. I'm happy documenting this charger for people who do not live in Fort Wayne. We do have Indiana Michigan Power'a time of day rate so to fill the car at home (S85) takes less than $4 for a full charge. Even with...
The conduit for the transformer is in place. There are 10 parking spaces, but not enough work is complete to count the number of stalls yet.
The other Tesla charger is at Joseph Decius. There are some small shops in Roanoke. I believe Sweetwater is the best one with the highest current, food...
