I can confirm that I’m charging at 30/30 etc... again after 2018.44. If you have this issue you can contact your local SC and have them push 2018.44 to fix this issue.
FYI... I got this response from the remote diagnosic’s team:
" A firmware bug got introduced into 2018.39 and later (v9) that can cause the Tesla Mobile App to display the charging current as 1A less than requested.
If this issue is present, the vehicle UI will still display the expected...
I’ve returned my LX. Mine worked fine but got another one that has no sleep function and an on/off switch. It’s BT LE and works with SMT on android and Tesla Spy on my iphone. It’s not as fast as the LX but for what I want to do it’s perfectly fine. It’s also over $50 less. And it’s half...
Jdeck,
Could we please have the option to stay logged in for at least 30 days or more? Getting tried of constantly logging back in all day long.
Thanks.
Just to be clear. The car is not sleeping as I’ve unlocked the car with the key fob but have not opened any doors. The MCU is not on at this point and is blank/black. At this point, I get the same error as Lukez. I’m also not able to connect via BT terminal, so it’s not a SMT error. As soon...
Mine seems to be working fine now after turning off the sleep function. My car hasn’t been driven for 3 days now. I worke it up today and SMT connected just fine. I’m on the latest fw version. I find that SMT will not connect even if the car is not sleeping as per teslafi if the mcu is off...
I couldn’t get blueterm to connect so I downloaded bluetooth terminal. The commands start with “st” ie. “stslcs” should print the current power settings. “stslu off, off” should turn off the sleep function. You’ll also need to do a “atz” to reset the unit before entering “stslsc” to confirm...
amund7,
It looks like apps do have the ability to change the sleep parameters. Please take a look at this thread and see if you can incorporate a “do not sleep” option in the next release. Here’s the reference. Obdlink LX BT killing car battery
I have the same issue. After reading this I ordered another cheap ELM type adaptor that does not have a sleep function. It works with SMT but it’s missing a bunch of values are important to me. I’m guessing all ELM type adaptors are going to have similiar results?
I’ve plugged the LX back in...
Could someone with 2018.16 try their heated steering wheel. I got 2018.16 yesterday at a SC for unrelated issues and this morning I noticed no heat for the sterring wheel even though the icon is red.
Thx
I had the same issue. You might want to turn off "monitor interior temperature" for sleeping in your teslafi. It appears the car's now reporting the interior temp even when sleeping.
Anyone else see their car no longer sleeping after getting the latest 2017.50.1 fw? I haven’t made any changes to my teslafi but my car hasn’t slept once since the update.
