How to get fair value for FSD on a trade in?

Tesla trade in value for my 2019 model 3 is in the low 20s. Doesn’t seem to assign any value for FSD. Any suggestions?

    Today's Roadster Orphan

About to list my very low mileage all black all original 1.5. Probably one of the best examples out there. Was planning on keeping it forever but circumstances have changed. If anyone is interested kindly pm me.

    Today's Roadster Orphan

Porsche “design” limited editions never sell at a premium. Take for example “911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design” which is a targa gts with special badges that was announced in 2022. You can still get these new at MSRP… yet barley no one can get their hands on the recently announced 911s/t

    Today's Roadster Orphan

Why would a signature 100 sell for such a big premium over “normal” 1.5? It’s exactly the same car built at more or less the same time period give or take a few months. Elon probably added a couple of badges just so he can charge upfront for the car. I can understand paying a premium for special...

Advice on selling 2016 90D with FUSC, Premium Connectivity and CPO Warranty

6 seat, no accidents, excellent condition in and out. And yes, for those 2016 that were bought with 4 year CPO warranty, FUSC is transferable. Very rare, hence the confusion.

Advice on selling 2016 90D with FUSC, Premium Connectivity and CPO Warranty

Finally getting close to picking up a 2022 Model X so need advice on pricing my 2016 Model X 90D. KBB indicates value of $63k-$69K but that doesn’t take into account free unlimited supercharging, free unlimited premium connectivity and more than a year left on CPO warranty (Dec 2023). Any...

Just a thought, wouldn’t that be kind of like saying back in 2011, ”Don’t buy a 1998 McLaren F1, just order the new 2012 MP4-12C”?

Should I sell or hold on to my Roadster?

Quick background. Owning the original Roadster 1.5 had been a dream since the day it was announced. Was finally able to purchase one in 2016. All black, fully loaded 1.5, in essentially new condition. I’ve been taking great care of it (short drives every week or so, always plugged in, garaged...

    Today's Roadster Orphan

Interesting comment by Carl Medlock re 1.5 Roadsters on that page: I have refurbished and updated over 75 of Roadster PEM’s. PEM’s in the early cars are far more robust than after vin 500. The components and materials used in the early cars the one here for example are better. Open the cover of...

    Today's Roadster Orphan

Given the limited supply, I think this is just the beginning. As we all know, besides being fun, the Roadster is one of the most important sports car ever built. So many unique and one off details. Just think about it, a gated shifter in a single gear electric car...

Much prefer the original Roadster over new Roadster. If I didn’t own one, I would get one while prices are still reasonable. Same logic applies here: 1953 Porsche 356 America Roadster vs. 2019 Porsche Speedster - MotorTrend

    Today's Roadster Orphan

Seems to me like prices are actually increasing. As far as I can tell, supply is at all time low with only six Roadsters listed on Autotrader (used to be in the twenties for years). Low mileage cars are listed above $65k. Tesla is taking a lot of cars out of the market at very decent prices and...

Roadster Future - Time for a Wake Up Call?

I have to give credit when credit is due! Just got the car for back from service at the Palo Alto service center. Seems like Tesla listened to our complaints and is now treating Roadsters the way they deserve to be treated! Service was done professionally and quickly and car was kept well and...

Roadster Future - Time for a Wake Up Call?

Just went through another bad experience at Palo Alto service. From putting the wrong TPMS sensors, through waiting four months for a wiper arm, to picking up a dirty, damaged car. Could go on but will leave it at that. Hard to imagine this is a Palo Alto service specific problem and since my...

Roadster Future - Time for a Wake Up Call?

With the Roadster store essentially coming to an end and Roadster service/repair that is getting harder to obtain on a timely manner, it might be a time for a Tesla wake up call. The Roadster is where it all started. This is a significant car and one Tesla should invest to keep on the road. The...

2013 Tesla Model S p85 With new 4-Year Extended Service Agreement

Fully loaded (all options except rear facing seats) and very well maintained with new 4-year/50,000 miles warranty! Free transferable supercharging! There are blemishes on right mirror and right corner of rear bumper. Also, small chip on one of the doors (really minor, see pictures). Excellent...

Holding on to your Roadster. . .

I think it’s a safe bet that a 2008 1.5 would have at least the same following as the Porsche 356A Speedster. There’s a reason why, for many years now, a Speedster is worth more than the fastest and latest iteration of the 911. Just look at it... it’s a classic already!
