This is exactly my experience. Woke up to a dead car. None of the fobs work, and it is plugged in. Tesla is scheduling Mobile Tech to come unplug the car, Then schedule a tow. Looks like this might be more prolonged than I initially thought.

I am intrigued by the 2 year replacement comment. I am just past my 2 year mark on my X and I just woke up to a dead car. I cant even get into the car and it is plugged in to my home charger. About to call for roadside assistance.

As the person that put in the first request for the pictures over 2 years ago, I have made my conclusions about what this is. I would like to be proven wrong, but I seriously doubt I would. No way it takes 2yrs to put up pictures of tires in storage

i can see how and why this makes sense.. i have been on the recieving end of having my code removed and given to someone else by one unscrupulous Tesla sales staff. It took almost 2 months and a lot of noise to get it reverted. Using the link might eliminate this;

Another one here. Got 2018.16 eac88a7 update this morning, and Heated Steering promptly stopped working. I checked because I had been following this thread. I am logging a report now, hopefully it helps and Tesla gets a fix out ASAP.

Mine was after about 20 mins. I started it and went off to do something else. Then i got the failed notification on my phone.

Also just got the update. Updated started, then returned with a 'Update failed" error. Wait until Tesla pushes another update to your car" message

I just got the following update 2017.42 a88c8d5 this morning. I went from 2017.36 straight to this. I didn't have any issues with homelink with the earlier version. I just tried now with the 2017.42 and homelink still works (1 try). Will give it more tries later. Car is a Sept 75D build.

Finally, after what has been forever. I took delivery of my replacement X on saturday. Ended up with a black one instead of the Midnight silver i had initially ordered. All other options remained the same. Glad that chapter is over. Time to get to know the car and put some miles on it.

We have the same timeline. Ordered on the same day. I am on the east coast and i am scheduled for 25th of September. I think the deliveries are consistent.
