Where to go for tyres in the U.K.?

At just over 21,000 miles my model S 19” tyres are still in the ‘safe’ zone, but I want to replace them before winter. with my MBs I usually went to BlackCircles. Any reasons why I should change that tradition and go to Tesla instead? Any other options folks would recommend for Tesla tyre...

    Washer hose wear/tear

Anyone had any problems with washer hoses wearing or tearing above the reservoir? This is a Q3 2019 RHD UK SR+ I’ve seen posts on the Y-connector not being connected. This seems different. Prompted to fill my SO’s washer reservoir. Only took 1L and reached the limit. operated the washer and...

    Model 3 + Rolec —> interrupted charging?

Hi. Anyone have experience of Model 3 interrupted charging with a tethered Rolec charger? The charger has been fine with my Model S (23mph charging rate at ~32A 230-250VAC). with our new Model 3 I expected the same results: plug-in, charge up. But charging is stopped at various times in the...

    PUP as standard?

Just checking out the pricing of a Model X to go along with our Model S. Seems the PUP is standard in Model S and Model X in the UK now. Neat. If I were buying my Model S again I'd possibly err on the side of getting PUP because of heated rear seats and extra filter. I'd definitely get it on...

adobe blog on Tesla user interface experience

Though some of the details in this may have changed with recent software updates I thought this was an interesting UX take on the Tesla (Model S) interface. The author makes a fair point about the non-haptic nature of the touch screen interface - you need to look at it to pick the right...

FSD vs google (contains seeking alpha)

I see some of the points being made here: maps save compute time; FSD isn’t here yet. But I’m not sure about the speculative win/lose conclusion. 2 self driving cars walk into a bar

    UK Tesla finance changes imminent?

Got a neat email from Tesla today saying "Tesla’s limited time 1.5% rate on Model S and Model X vehicles is available through to the 30th September." Darn. Hope the rate isn't going up much as I was looking at getting a model S in February.
