My wife also asked this same question. I left it plugged in (mostly because I'm lazy haha). But I figured the power draw is negligible and I'd much rather pay it instead of the wear-and-tear on the socket and plug (and my muscles & bones :P haha)

Anyone know if it's possible to pay Tesla to put in the third row seats after-the-fact? The middle row of the new 5-seat and 7-seat seems exactly the same. Would only need to put in the last row?

Been using mine for about 3 weeks. No problems so far. The only annoyance is that it will cover the seat belt buckle. I folded the bottom on mine slightly so that it won't hinder buckle.

You can call Tesla support and see if they can resend the update to your car. Or you can bring it into your local service center. Or as message says just wait for next update. This happened to me last update and my SC installed it for me (I was there for a different issue already)
