Nope service manager didn’t realize at time they installed HW3. Would have waited if he would have known. Piss Poor Communication

So any idea when they will just have mcu2 kits? I had HW3 installed awhile back and can’t get mcu2 now.

Had a total reset when I upgraded to 2020.36 note: Homelink works after resetting but doesn’t work in Tesla App.

it seems the SC advisor would have known this and advised me when they installed, sounds like Tesla left him in the dark too.

2017 S with HW3, FSD. Awaiting MCU 2 availability. As I understand both screens are replaced with infotainment upgrade? (My main screen received UV treatment last year and yellowing has not returned.)

I have same model as you. UV treatment worked well on my screen. I updated to AP3 in May. Waiting to hear about infotainment upgrade. Confusing, I thought the IC screen is changed not MCU screen.

My SC told me to call back in a couple of months for infotainment upgrade. Advised that Tesla only doing HW3/infotainment together not separately. I had HW3 installed several weeks ago. Tesla has problems.

Well it’s listed as a beta and we are the testers. Definitely turn it off if you don’t feel comfortable. My biggest gripe with it so far is at a stop and you are turning. When you pull cruise control to resume acceleration response is painfully slow making the turn.

Memphis Service Center did install. I stayed in touch with Memphis via text. They texted me when it was available.

Did Tesla repair? Warranty?
