    Low coolant. Ok to drive

Just to pile on, my 2013 MS P85 had coolant low message show up anytime I drove *uphill*. While awaiting SC appt the msg would come on/off occasionally driving on level ground but just at high speeds, or again when pointed uphill, then going away when reaching level ground. Needless to say, I...

2015 Model S No power to Passenger Door windows and side mirror

Update: SC tech said I needed fuse box as stud was loose and causing short to low volt battery, so they replaced. That did not fix issue, of course. So after 3 days in SC, and after I posted text to advisor it was most likely a broken wire in main door harness or possibly fuse in door...

2015 Model S No power to Passenger Door windows and side mirror

I've got similar issue, 2013 MS P85. Both driver-side door handles WON'T RETRACT, and the handle curtesy/puddle lighting remains illuminated, no windows operable (but the door opening causes window to drop 1/4" as customary), extended driver side door handles will open car even after "locking"...

Running Down to Zero (and Beyond!) (Warning: Vampire, Monster, and Necromancy Content!)

Great feedback, thank you. I'll try checking the door handle fuses first, then take it into SC if that does not miraculously fix my issue. Now I just need to find a budget way to fix the TPMS fault without shelling out $1200 to SC and all will be right with my girl, Candy...

Running Down to Zero (and Beyond!) (Warning: Vampire, Monster, and Necromancy Content!)

Sorry to disturb whatever evil plans you currently have for Scarlett, but what was diagnosis? I have same issue happening with my Candy ('13 P85) - windows not responsive (but will nudge down/up when open/close doors), and just both driver side door handles permanently in the "happy" (extended)...

Window question [are the windows supposed to lower when door opened?]

Also, helps with equalizing interior air pressure when doors are shut. Your ears are thankful for this feature. But primarily for windows not striking the door frame as previously noted.

    Windshield replacement $1300+? Seriously?

Latest cost estimate from Tesla in Costa Mesa for MX windshield replacement, etc is $1,777.11. Cost of parts is about $1,100. Safelite online quote about $1,500. Prefer Tesla to take care of their own. While AP may not need calibration per se, Tesla does check to ensure all is working properly...

Does my S sit too high?

This was a great thread, thank you! My 2013 MS P85 shows a great (in my mind) disparity between all four corners, ranging from 27.0" for passenger rear wheel arch peak to floor, to 29.25" for driver front, with other two wheel arches at about 28.25". Hoping recalibration will fix differentials...

    Acceleration Reduced.... new problem

9/22/18 8:45pm merging onto freeway and error popped up "Acceleration reduced - Contact Tesla Service when convenient". @ 26,830 mi, 2013 P85 12XXX, original battery (A pack?). Appreciate the other posts so I know what to expect. Car seemed to have gotten louder in last 7k miles, especially at...

    Fold Mirror Question

No charge to remove the bad mirror motors. :) Warranty...Would love to be handy enough to retrofit power folding mirrors myself (and have the time to do so). Though, programming is not my forte, so would ultimately be stuck with nice hardware and no software to make it work!

    Fold Mirror Question

Purchased 2013 P85 CPO in March 2018 (P12XXX). I wanted the folding mirrors as garage is tight...but no power folding at that time. Anyway, mirrors would not fold manually either. Turns out, mirrors had motors but was not hooked up (likely no wiring harness I assume). SC removed ceased motors (5...

    What's your P85 Range?

2013 P85 (built 6/2013), 19,200 miles purchased CPO in March 2018. At near 100% was showing 254 and climbing VERY slowly. Maybe I get 256? In line w/other posts... Interesting thread, thought another data point wouldn't hurt.

    Supercharging Station Status

I was just trying to look this up myself after having my "new" car for a month. Anyway, I was thinking it might not be too much burden if the Tesla app included your 3 or 4 closest/saved/most-frequented SC status. For example: SC A =2 of 12 available (possible broken stalls) SC B =12 of 16...

Opening the doors and starting the car with a dead keyfob battery

Just thought I'd add that even after 3 years, IKEA's price on the 8 pack of batteries is still a very reasonable $2.99...price has gone up due to so many Tesla's using up the Li supply! ;)

    Bicycles

This is an old post, but I was just wondering the same thing if Tesla would apply their engineering expertise to made a super E-bike that would really help make bike commuting more accessible to greater audience (greater range and reduced weight through superior battery and drivetrain tech)...

    CPO 2017 Models S or Model 3?

I was in the same predicament until yesterday during a random call to my CPO Advisor revealed a great deal on a CPO P85 was available (and not yet published online)... I've been on that M3 reservation list since day 1 (nearly 2 years ago) and ironic that after checking for CPO "deals" for over 2...

    Where's the Tesla market?

I'd love to get a nice CPO MS, however, been watching the inventory of CPO vehicles dwindle for the past couple months until it has hit this new low: U.S. Model S Used Inventory -- (19 Listings) Even the new inventory is not as robust as once was at over 200... Hoping for tomorrow's Black Friday...

    Low Inventory Levels

I've been wondering what, when, where, and why the CPO inventory is spooky low...I know there are folks out there all the time trading in their "old" rides for shiny new ones so that others like me can get into a "new" CPO! This has been on-going for at least a couple months. Maybe stockpiling...
