I now put chill mode on when on autopilot and it’s great. Previously for all adjusts in speed on tacc would be jolting and use high kWh. Chill mode adjust this better and get much better range while on autopilot with chill mode on.

I am waiting to hear of a “successful” retrofit. Meaning lights replaced and then actually work. I think this is harder than expected since needs to be wired into the steering wheel harness. I personally don’t want them doing this till they really actually know how to do it correctly...

Personally I don’t see a HUD coming to tesla. For a company betting on autonomous driving who just got rid of the instrument cluster in the model 3 and is using middle touchscreen instead. Just don’t see it. But that’s just my opinion.

They are supposed to be standard now. However everyone who took delivery in September did not receive them and now waiting on replacements. I would check and make sure you in fact have them.

I highly doubt anything is being updated on the model s anytime soon. According to the quarterly report the inventory levels are low because they aren’t making any inventory cars and instead focusing their manpower on the model 3.

Tesla changed the model S to have black in these areas in the past month. Unfortunate that they did this as the two tone look in these areas is awesome.

I think they sold a lot of inventory end of quarter 3 with aggressive pricing and interest rate. I wonder if they haven’t produced more inventory since they are doing overseas orders first. Last quarter they produced a lot of inventory in August.

You have two lines of headlights. The lower portion are the regular lights the second upper row is where the adaptive lights would be. You either have lights there or a chrome filler.

Sorry. If they went to that Mercedes interior I wouldn't have bought a tesla. I really like the current simplistic look. It's just great. Focus more on snappier touch screen and better UI and apps for the touch screen.

anyone have recommendations for seat covers to protect from car seats. Have white interiors and most covers are ribbed and worried this will leave impressions on the seat.

If your in the US or Canada you probably won't be able to get your car before end of December. They make Europe and Asia first. Then do US and Canada toward end of quarter. You can also set your delivery date ahead of time for whenever you want

Is My guess is it's all about the wiring and if new needs to be added and if it does how difficult is that. As far as adding the bulbs they have to have a method as I am sure they have had to replace lights before.

They are not there on non PUP vehicles. But there on PUP cars. They know they messed up. Let's hope they do the right thing

When you ordered could you order the cold weather package or upgraded sound a la carte? Or was it one combined PUP package. If one combined PUP then they are lying to you. I ordered 8/10 and it definitely had changed.

Honestly it sounds like someone at the factory screwed up and forgot to make these headlights part of the standard configuration. Hopefully they will or will have to do right by us.
