Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Not sure I agree with them being "the low cost leader" these days and "no being immediately responsive?" - IT TOOK OVER A YEAR from initial case opening.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Finally I can close this issue! Apparently the installer wired and configured the Neurio according to the published Tesla instructions. It took weeks of data sent to get Tesla to admit their instructions weren’t correct for my installation. All it took was combining and wiring the Neurio...

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Yes, tried rebooting the neurio after 15mins of no power to it. Now I'm just waiting on the installer (AES) who says they're waiting on Tesla to provide a new Neurio W1 to replace mine. Crazy how long these guys are collectively drawing this out. This system was installed over a year ago and...

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Unfortunately I believe I have to have a W1 Neurio due to the dual 400A CT’s. I asked them to replace the Neurio. They said they had the follow Tesla instruction. Now today they said they need to replace the Neurio at Tesla’s instruction and test. Ugh.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Installer put in a new neurio in October. The system the. worked great with no grid power leakage for about a month. That power bill was the lowest I had seen ever. Then the power leakage started happening. I’m now betting it’s the neurio again or some strange software pushed to it.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Installer (AES) came out today. Verified main power CT locations and direction Verified solar generation CT location and direction At Tesla’s request, they took a video of everything and sent it to them for review and next steps.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Trying. They’ve blamed Tesla so far and waiting on tier 2 to advise them.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

I agree this must be a Tesla / CT issue of not accurately calculating home power needs and/or Solar generation amounts.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

I can't go off grid via the app because that will allow utility power to flow through to the other 3 non-back up panels. I did flip the breakers on all 4 sub panels and the utility usage did go to 0 as expected.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

The difference in Solaredge production and Tesla reported solar production is right at the amount of grid power leakage/usage i'm seeing.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

I have a voltage/amp meter but not sure how I'd do that. just connect it to the downstream legs? Also, in the physical panel to inverter layout, there is a few more panels on 1 inverter than the other. this image shows that with the different power draws from each.

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Thanks for the reply. To me it has to be either CT config issue, Gateway problem, and/or Tesla software issue. The installer (Alternative Energy Southeast AES) did make a CT change months ago. It worked great for about 2 months and then back to leakage and inaccurate reporting. I'm gaining...

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Reserve is set to 0%! We hardly ever lose power so my sole purpose of the system is to not rely on the grid. Exactly, I'm expecting my grid home usage to be 0% when solar and/or powerwalls have more than enough power to cover the home load. That never happens for me. Grid usage is always at...

Constant Grid Power Usage Despite plenty of Solar and/or Powerwall Power to cover home load

Another Model X Problem!!! 3rd row seat stuck in down position.

Tying mine off.... I scheduled an appoint on 1/11/18 for them to apparently "manually" put my 3rd row seat back in the upright position since I was never given an ETA for the new ones. I arrived on that Thursday morning and while checking in they asked me "Hey Chris, did you know your 3rd row...

Another Model X Problem!!! 3rd row seat stuck in down position.

Are you referring to the regular button next to the 3rd row head rest on the shoulder of the seat back or something under the leather? if it's the standard button you press that you can hear actuate the lock then that's not a workaround, it's the standard way to bring the 3rd row seats back up...

Another Model X Problem!!! 3rd row seat stuck in down position.

@pakman00 - Thanks. The only place I see you can send an email is via Tesla.com. Did you have an email address to send something to or did you use the form fields on their site?

Another Model X Problem!!! 3rd row seat stuck in down position.

Dang - I'm now a stuck 3rd row victim...... The Model X in the Atlanta Avalon showroom had a 3rd row seat stuck in the down position when we first went in back in May. The 24 test drive Model X we had (different vehicle) had a 3rd row stuck in the down and locked position in June. Now our 4...

New Novitec - Vossen Wheels on my Model X and 20" Standards for Sale

Thanks. I was on the fence only being able to see images of silver on a white X but in person they're the perfect design for the car. Since I did a satin chrome delete, we went with satin black.

New Novitec - Vossen Wheels on my Model X and 20" Standards for Sale

Thanks. It's dead on how I wanted it to look. It will be featured in an upcoming exotics show in October here. I wanna see pics of yours as well after install. They are brand new so probably $1500 for wheels and tires. Otherwise they'll just go in a closet in my garage.

New Novitec - Vossen Wheels on my Model X and 20" Standards for Sale

Just had the new Novitec-Vossen wheels made and installed on our 7/2017 Model X (pictured) so I have the standard silver 20" wheels and tires for sale. Tires have ~600 miles on them. I can send/text pictures if needed but they're the stock 20" wheels/tires the X comes with.
