Responsiveness and performance is same, but just look up tesla screen manufacturing issues and make up your own mind if you want to stay with your screen or get new one. The factors will be quality of your current screen, the warranty coverage, and of course the $250.

It's not old equipment, they have your uninstalled new screen. You are keeping what you bought and it wasnt your option to keep the old screen.

The core fee is for the processor, but I'm sure it could be for the screen and it's still less than the cost of the old MCU and screen replacement. My main point is that it's better to install the new expensive screen rather than take a $250 discount.

Four weeks.

Received rebate check today. The delay was from not seeing an email two months ago that they lost the picture of the installed wall unit. I sent it via email attachment the second time and it worked out.

Received email from state, the rebate was approved and everything has been processed. They will be sending to Finance dept for payment.

I submitted the application after installing HPWC a few weeks ago. I will post once I know. They didnt send the application back, so it may be a good sign.
