2020.44.25 seems to have made it worse for me in my model X

FYI - the Ahwahnee destination charger is working. I'm getting 14kW (204v/72A). They also have a J1772 charger right next to it. Luckily someone responded to the note I left in the charger dock and let me know when they were done. There are a lot of Teslas and EVs here.

It's a good thing to have in the frunk/trunk. I've used mine twice when I've had to get nails removed from my tires. The tire shop did not have something like this. Which was surprising given I'm in LA.

How do you know the difference? What do you look for on the charger?

That's a great idea and what I'm thinking. That way I have control over "outage" charging. Would be nice for the powerwalls and car to talk even via the app. Some day.....

Thanks. My quote has my Tesla wall charger "not backed up" but it pulls 72amps. I haven't discussed with Tesla yet. I guess if we have a power outage now, I'm not charging my X, anyway.

Would they not backup the 60A Tesla charger because of......? Powerwalls can't handle the draw?....

If that was for me, nothing yet. I just submit the "order" today.

Glad i found this post. I'm looking to do something similar - 12.24kW system with 2-3 power walls. I don't have a ton of room by my main panel but there is plenty of space in the garage for the PWs and some perfect southern-facing, shade free real estate on our garage. If i do PV on the house...

Appreciate everyone's discussion here and not to hijack the thread but would a ~12kW system work with 2 power walls or still a potential for shutdown? I'm in SoCal so definitely get some sunny days.

I have a non Raven P100D and agree that the most recent update seems to reduced the jump it use to get off the line.

Do you have traffic light and stop sign control (or whatever it's called) on under autopilot? That's most likely what's going on.

Yes. No charge for me. They did it with the HW3 upgrade.

I had the same issue with phantom drain and it seems to have been resolved, as well. I would sometimes lose 6-8 miles of range per hour. Service center said it was due to thermal regulation of the battery. Either way, glad it's resolved

Just an fyi but my 2018 model X connects to our 5GHz band. I can't imagine they changed the wifi setup.

Put the car in reverse, adjust the mirrors and then save to your profile. When I got my car the driver's side mirror went up. No idea why someone would save the mirror like that.

Don't be afraid to wrap it either. I honestly think the silver is one of the best in a matte wrap.

I had this happen while listening to a song on YouTube, as well. I assumed it was a safety cut off due to loud/high volume. Reset the MCU and all was good after that.

I did a pretty light tent on my front windows and it made a huge difference on heat and light! Highly recommend this. It doesn't even need to be that dark.

Opted to use Blnk on a recent trip because it was what our hotel had (and didn't want to spend vacation time at a supercharger). I let the hotel know they had other options and based on the number of Tesla's in the parking lot they should explore those other options. It would count against them...

Make sure you verify the load rating before you buy. Model X is a heavy car!

2018 P100D - always "Low"

Looks fantastic! Had my white model X wrapped in xpel stealth. Can you post a close up pic of a corner? Like where the hood and side panel meet above the headlights?

Actually like my ventilated/"cooled" seats but it seems like 2018 was the last year and no word on when they'll be back.

I had the car serviced last week but I haven't gotten the service report yet. The tech said there was a pretty lengthy explaination in it. I'll post when I get it.

I believe it was end of 2018 they stopped having them. My dec build 2018 door have them and it is a nice feature.

All new model X and S are considered "Raven". The next gen will be "plaid".

It's literally always 10 or more degrees warmer. It obviously goes up more when the sun is out. I had a friend pull the data for his model 3 and the exterior and interior temps converge at night. Check your interior temp in the morning and compare it to the local temp.

Anyone else notice this? My cars interior is always at least 10 degrees (F) warmer than the exterior. Even at night, parked outside, not charging, it runs +10 degrees vs the exterior temp. I have a ervices appointment scheduled for a few other things so I will bring this up, as well. Teslafi...

So I just had this service done and they replaced the halfshafts and jackshaft. No mention of clevis mounts being replaced, even though I mentioned it when I dropped it off. Hopefully this repair holds.

What is there are 2 chargers but 3 spots? I see this in a parking garage I go to. Always the same X5 (plugged in) and model 3 (not plugged in) and usually another hybrid.

Turn on the self presenting option if you have it. Lock the car, walk away and then come back. Might work.

Or maybe it's such a common issue for the windows to trigger the pinch detection and go halfway down that they didn't implement it. My driver's side window has the same issue as @Saghost, except mine does it without rain. Can only imagine closing my "vented" windows to come back and see them...

Under safety and security

How strong is the wifi signal on the X? Can you change songs while streaming radio? I had the same issue. My router is only about 30-35ft from where my X is parked but never got a good connection. I installed a wifi extender about 5 ft from my X and now I can consistently connect.

I'd schedule a service. You're running pretty old software (relatively speaking). Might fix your issue to be more up to date.
