The temperature here has just dropped to about 12c. At this point my regeneration is not as strong because of the cold battery. As far as I know, the cabin heat control is the only option. Does it preheat the battery as well? I do love one pedal driving!

I love creep mode! Not sure why? It just seems comfortable/logical/user friendly. Is that just because of previous ICE vehicles? And I love the power/modulation control at extemely low speeds on steep hills with a stop sign. One pedal driving!

Sounds like your car is doing everything right. Permanent damage from one low SOC is probably not going to happen. Do it a lot? Well, that's just not good for any battery. So don't do it. Lots of threads on this. Just noticed you have a new Plaid! Nice!

I upgraded to MCU2 and hoped the USB might work properly. Nope . Same as before. Everything else is great but, USB blues.

Insane for me. There is an Insane + but all it does is take forever to preheat the battery and use a lot of juice. Dragstrip is the only place that it could be useful. I did take it to the drags one time, but that was before I had the +.

Tried it but I have the same settings in my app as in the car. Slide your finger and guess. Also found the a/c on this morning while sitting unplugged in the garage! I know I left it on when I got out of the car yesterday, but it turned off as it should. Weird. I'll try a reset.

Valet mode locks the glove box, hides all contact info and puts it in kind of a "chill" mode. Also you can see exactly where your car is on your phone. And shops are getting to know them better.

Yeah, I think I can charge up to around 75% before all the pumps and fans start. Usually that's fine. I have mainly used a 15A/110V plug for nearly 4 years. Also have to prewarm here in cooler weather before you get any regen!

December 2015 P85D still get about 400K. Well I don't but that's what a 100% charge shows.

Not sure you should be able to turn off charging. Assuming you are in a public charging station, just get in the car and exit the charging point so someone else can use it. If at home, you can set start/stop times in the app.

Except this is a Model S part of the forum. The S's handles automatically pop out as you approach so not sure what value this ring would be.

As I don't know how to heat the battery by itself, I tried preheating the car yesterday. Drove away warm with no yellow dashes and regen felt perfect! It's about 5 C here so not warm. 12/2015 P85D. Hope this is the fix.

So sorry! Definitely not acceptable! Tesla should have no problem fixing it. Congrats on the new S!

That doesn't look good - assuming it's a new Model S?

I get the yellow triangle at first as well. Regen ability is way down from last winter. I know it gets worse in colder temps but it used to warm up so much faster which is what allows the regen to work. Really changes an important function, (one pedal driving), that worked really well!

You can set the distance auto pilot will follow at. My AP1/TACC works beautifully in very slow or stop and go slow traffic. 2015 P85D.

In driving mode, what you see is what you get. Chill, sport, insane and insane+ are the same options as my P85D. If you bought it from Tesla just show them the tag and they'll fix you up. (And it's mighty fast without it!)

I like it the way it is as well. Some other cars, (I have heard), are making you use the brake pedal for regen, then push more firmly for braking. Doesn't sound as easy to use for me.

I had my 2015 P85D in for some work and they gave me a 90D to drive. It was a courtesy car so I wasn't exactly screaming around in it but found a huge difference in acceleration! I think it was a 2016. I was glad to get my car back!

Agree it feels like G-force activated. If you have space, (which the driving conditions posted-do not,) you can manipulate the go-pedal to barely slow down without brake lights. It works great, just not suited that well for close, high speed, dangerous driving.

I was given an MS90D to drive when my P85D was in for service. It was a dog compared to my P85D!

I plug in almost daily to 85% via the 15A circuit in my garage. After 2 1/2 years, my range doesn't seem to have changed. About 400K on a full charge. 2015P85D ver.2019.32.2.1

Thanks @JPP. Disappointing as I've never had it back to the service center in the two years I have owned it! Got a little road trip planned soon. Hope it doesn't screw up before I can get it in. LOVE that I haven't had any issues, (so far!)

I should have said, "I can't HEAR the hatch tightening down like I used to. It seems to be tight - I can't lift it, but there is no motor/screwing sound at the end of closing like I used to hear. Searched but couldn't find it on TMC. Anyone have similar issues? 2015 MS P85D.

I think cabin filters in most cars don't seal all that well. But I like your idea! :)
