I'm in Mountain View, CA. If you're ever in the area maybe I can hear your system at a supercharging location. I just put in the LH door speakers, and don't know what I'm missing in my otherwise stock model X.

I have two Kagu floor mats for 2nd and 3rd row of 2016 model X . For the 2nd row, I cut it myself to make it a 7 seater. For the 3rd row, I didn't cut it yet and it's still brand new. $50 each.

Used but well-loved and just vacuumed and carpet cleaned with shampoo. Local sale preferred. Shipping is $50 if wrapped in plastic bags. $80 shipping if you want a box.

For this price, it's worth a try. I'd imagine that we outline it with a cardboard cut out. Perhaps reduce the actual cutout by 1/2 inch around the sides to create an artificial edge.

Thanks for your comments gaswalla. Actually, I spent considerable amount of time experimenting and getting the right mix of solutions. This definitely helped as there are no A/C in the rear seats. Highest level of Ceramic tint obviously is a must as well.

There are some scratches on the plastic film that protects the metal housing. Comes with 2 adapters, was previously used for a 2016 Model X but I believe its compatible for S, and 3 as well.
