They painted mine and they did the side mirrors as well (folding them may tear the wrap). Also, they told me not to go for gloss vinyl because it shows a ton of scratches.

I'd just go for satin black instead of matte black.

Yes, this is why they usually paint it. That's what they did for mine.

They need to change a lot of stuff. I am not sure they can do it by replacing one element after another. They need to change the whole interior.
