2013 Model S Charge Port Inlet clicks and won't unlock

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't tried this suggestion yet but will file it away to possibly try. I do have an update. The ebay seller I purchased the port from indicated he thought the port trouble was due to an incorrectly installed orange high voltage port cover. That cover is retained by...

Charge port lock mechanism on a 2012 215k miles

Did replacing your charge port resolve the issue for you? I have a charge port that is clicking with no latch unlock even when I push unlock on my 2013 Model S charge console screen. The port sounds like it's trying. It goes click, pause 1 second, click, pause, click, pause for about 30 seconds...

Hello, I have a 2013 P85 with the early magnetic lock inlet TPN 1005612-00-G. My original issue was when I opened the charge port (all methods like console, key and app would open it) the inlet would make clicking sounds (click, pause, click, pause, click, pause for about 30 seconds and then...

Thanks for the recommendation. Been running fine since I charged up the 12V with my little Black & Decker. The DCDC fuse fix also resolved my broken heater so I'm back at 100% functionality!

Dead 2013 Model S after DCDC converter repair

I closed the car doors last night and went to bed, put the battery charger on this AM and checked voltage...3.4V now (down from over 13V last night when I checked). I hit the "Charge Battery" and like magic everything came to life. My screen is showing 128 miles range inside so I didn't empty...

DC - DC converter / AC compressor repair

13.1V when I connected a battery checker/charger to the positive post under the cone and the negative to frame ground, In retrospect I'm an idiot for not realizing those door lights were draining me, but I was scared of being locked out of the car and didn't think it was big enough to be a...

DC - DC converter / AC compressor repair

After reading about the fuse fix in DC converter to possibly fix a dead heater and needing to replace headlight too I tried the fuse repair. I had little time and ran into delays so this took longer than anticipated and I now have a dead car. I did not expect the batteries to drain complete...

DC - DC converter / AC compressor repair

I saw the amazon link to large fuse and the large size as 40a14Fa, but cannot find the physical dimensions for the small 20a/500V fuse in this thread. I assume this should be a Fast Blow? Could someone advise physical size of the small fuse, 6mmx30mm, other? Are there any recommended fuse brands...
