    Supercharger - Princeton, WV

stopped by on way to Charlotte yesterday. Tesla energy was there commissioning it. I pulled up and chatted for a bit. Said I could have charged if I wanted. Didn’t need to / didn’t test out. But lights were on.

    Wifi in NYC

That's my 'failsafe'. Probably ~20min drive to there. Certainly not end of world, ideally find something closer but certainly not worst option. Theres a coffee shop on my street that has wifi I can connect to, but tough to get a spot close enough. Will probably end up doing BK route, the...

    Wifi in NYC

I've tried and have never had the car pull a software update over phone. Now don't know if thats because one wasn't waiting or if the phones signal isn't strong enough, but have not had any luck with that so far. Have people had luck using phone as wifi hot spot for software updates? It's an...

    Wifi in NYC

Gents/Ladies - looking for any tips for NYC owners w/o constant access to WIFI. Haven't been able to upgrade to V9 yet and don't have great go to for car to connect to WIFI. Live in Tribeca / park right near west side highway near Canal. If anyone had any places to recommend, would be greatly...

    Firmware 9.0 Features Wishlist!

I park in a parking garage ~ 1 mile from my apt. I would loooove ability to download software updates remotely from app, versus having to physically press button on screen in car.

Jersey City Supercharger Effectively Down-Other Viable Option

Was driving around NYC last night and noticed that about 50% of the superchargers were being used and the reduced service notice had been taken from tesla maps. Not confirming its working again but could be...

    Supercharger - New York City - E 47th Street

Walked by just now. 4 spots in ICON parking garage, can enter from either 46th or 47th street. No additional charge to 'charge', however first hour of parking costs ~$37, with each additional hour costing ~$5, so still paying for parking in NYC, not fun. I live in Tribeca and park on the west...

Does anybody regret buying Model X for your main car?

6 months into X75 ownership, love everything about it. It's the best.

    NYC Wifi access

Own a 75X in NYC and am having a tiny issue with software updates. I park in a garage with no wifi so car rarely is hooked up to wifi. Hadn't been a problem, currently running 2017.50 (and had received updates prior, received car 10/17), but now Tesla is saying that I need to connect to wifi to...

    Lease takeover

To help you compare, I have an X75D (VIN ~54,000), EAP (no FSD), premium sound system on a 3 yr lease for $1054 a month w/ 10,000 miles/year (blue exterior/white interior/ 5 seater). Absolutely love it, it's my favorite thing ever.

Quick Q about software updates. You have to physically be in the car to start the download, correct? Only ask as I live in NYC / park car in garage so can go days/weeks w/o using car. Be nice to just start download via app but have not yet figured out a way to do that. Thanks.

How do I get the latest .46 update?

Am on .42 myself. Picked up X75D in Mid-October (inventory car ~VIN 53,000). Started with .21 and had that for 2 weeks until receiving .42 update. Keep car in a parking garage in NYC with not very good cell service (obviously no wifi). Have had car for ~2 months now, 1 software update. Not that...

Any Regrets on Buying the 5 Seater

No regrets (75D - 2500 miles in, delivered mid Oct/2017). Had to move withing New York City and having the car / all the storage space made it infinitely more convenient than last couple moves. Don't have wife/kids though, so just hauling around myself and golf clubs mostly. Such an awesome...

    2017.42 a88c8d5

New X owner here. Just finished road trip from NYC to West Virginia and back. .42 was awesome whole way, didn't have to manually take over once on way down (I78-->I81-->I68), even on some local roads. On way back in very inclement weather AP2 handled great, taking a lot of stress out of a...

    Model X First Reviews

Hey all - recently purchased model X (75D / VIN ~54,000). Live in NYC so had a quick question for other city dwellers who can't connect to WIFI where they park (I park in covered garage). I am still on software 17.24.28. Any tips to getting software updates more frequently, would love to have a...
