    Model X seats in a Model S

Adding Next Gen seats to an older S

Thanks! Looking at your post history I see you installed black next-gens in January, and have now swapped to the cream Premium seats. If I jump straight to the premium solution, are these jumpers still required, or by splicing direct you wouldn't need these?

    Model X seats in a Model S

I’ve got a 2014 Model S with the first gen seats that aren’t very comfortable. Here in Australia there are some used Model X front seats available - does anyone know if the seats are the same or mechanically incompatible? I’ve seen the threads about how to modify the electrical parts for...

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

@Juanmax - to be gentle to the electronics in the car, and to avoid some Tesla server getting triggered for very frequent API calls I would keep the frequency at the 1-2 minute interval it currently is. If it runs for 8 hrs /day in sunlight and there is a minute when you use a bit of grid...

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

I had my sparky put in a switch, that would turn phases 2/3 off for this reason. Usage is that i have it in single phase most of the time, but can quickly switch it to 3p32a for full 22kw charging for the odd occasion where i want juice quickly.

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

@Nietschy I also have a fronious inverter and smart meter - getting the real time excess current is only half the solution. Have you modified the rest of the code so that the amount of charge actually changes appropriately? Working through the logic - assuming you are making 5kw of power from...

Spotted in Australia and New Zealand

Not mine either. However, does it have AP1, as the photo of the dash looks like the old non-AP doesn't it?

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

Not something the code should be able to operate with, but for your info I have a switch installed by my electrician, so i can effectively open/close phase 2 and phase 3 of the circuit. Logic being that 1) when i am on solar (TWC Manager running) then having single phase is better, so that I...

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

Hardware is changing too - my 6 month old TWC broke (rev H) and was just replaced with a new one (rev J).

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

I've got the stop/start with the API working, but the overall code flow logic isn't fully finished yet - i'll send it to you as a PM.

Tesla Wall Connector load sharing protocol

Hi everyone. I bought my first Raspberry Pi (W Zero) to give this awesome project a try. @CDragon - is there an update to the TWCManager.pl file on Github? After lots of testing it looks like I'm getting the same issue as others where I have errors because the message is 18 bytes long...
