Hi James, go to the Tesla.com site, log in and look up supercharging voting. There is a section for suggesting a location and you can also vote for some that are currently listed. You get 5 votes quarterly.

I was hoping they would open one there. Great location as Lowes have long hours, excellent restrooms, snacks, water and their staff is always very friendly and helpful.

You are talking common sense there my friend and it’s no longer common. The Onroute is owned by Arjun Infrastructure Partners and Fengate Asset Management who purchased them in May 2019. They obviously canton read the tea leaves because they are losing out on lots of revenue.

You are only a few hundred ahead of me and I haven’t heard a thing except Tesla keeps asking me to purchase a different vehicle and they will give me 1k off the price. I’m starting to think about the MY.

The Montrose location has now closed the restaurant there. I think the other businesses in that merchant area will all be gone soon and don’t think the SC’s will be there in a year from now.

I can see Stratford getting one as they attract a lot of tourist in the summer. The Woodstock SC has been extremely busy the last few times I charged there.

I travel from the London area to Windsor and found the Comber Rd SC becoming very congested since there really isn’t any place to charge between the two cities. I looked around to see if there would be a suitable location along the 401 along that route but there just isn’t much out there...

Wait until people start driving and backing into the chargers. Sure the cars have cameras and sensors but the stuff I’ve seen drivers do says it will happen.

Aulds Cove NS and St John’s NL are now getting one as well. It will be the first for Newfoundland.

Now put one up near Bradford. I have suggested a couple locations to the Tesla SC voting link on their site.

There was a message in my app inbox that I was approved for free camera upgrade. I’m guessing because the ori camrars were not up to snuff.

They are currently doing winter testing in New Zealand so I doubt we see production until Mar/Apr 2024. We’ve been waiting for so many years wha’s another few months. Get it right the first time.I’m with many others who say do away with the single wiper.

Someone brought this article to my attention today. It’s apparently new but when I read it the information came from 2022 leaked documents in Germany. To me this data is well over a year old and I don’t think it is accurate any longer. Not sure what others think of this.

The MCU1 appears to be the link from what I have been reading. So if owners of MS with MCU1 can’t get the updates how will FSD work for those who already paid for that feature. It will be interesting.

Thanks for the information, very helpful. It also appears that MCU1 is an issue. I will wait them out because I have FSD and if it won’t operate with MCU1 they will have to replace it for free.

when I purchased FSD the upgraded my hardware Yes the car has MCU1, thought it was MCU 2 but it not, but hardware 3, with fsd and premium connectivity. The service people told me I did not require MCU2 as it related to the infotainment and I was okay with that.

I went and checked all the releases and yes Im 10 behind. The car says I’m up to date but the releases and software is not near current. I do not have the options released in the past several release notes.

I posted that I was 10 updates behind but one can explain. I have wifi and car says I’m up to date but not true.

No my car has MCU2. Also purchased an upgrade on everything and they recently upgraded my cameras (free) for FSD that I have.

My model S just downloaded software 2022.8.10.12 last night. I checked and that release is way behind the latest releases. I have my settings on advanced and am connected to wifi every day. The cars software display says my car is up to date but from what I read that just isn’t the case...

In Mid March Marion County approved the new Buc-ee’s and confirmed the 28 EV stalls. Great location right off I-75.

I just proposed a new SC in the Bradford area. It hopefully will be made public on the Tesla site for voting in the next quarter. We need to coordinate our votes as we only get 5. I would like to speak with the the Ontario Tesla Owners club to make that happen.

What you are most likely seeing is high speed internet infrastructure work going on just about everywhere lately. They use the large orange piping as their trunk line.

Agree, stop making change just for the sake of change. Turn signal stalks and round steering wheel have worked fine for a century. I have watched numerous videos on these changes and it is not better no matter how someone tries to spin it.

This is a great topic. My car has FSD but the cameras are 2017. I also believe it will need new cameras to one day attain FSD. So what level do you believe the FSD is currently operating at, L1, L2? The car still cannot operate on FSD without road markings, in the rain most times or snow.

Well on my drive home the tire pressure sensor notification went on. When I tried to see reset them, the entire screen went into some sort multicolour pixels display. That was a first I have ever had that that but on the bright side, music and voice command worked.

At least you didn’t have to be inconvenienced by wasting hours taking to a SC.

Well got my car back and they did not change the eMMC saying all they had to do was flash the chip and all is good. We will see how it holds up.
