Gonna probably dispute the charge if they don't refund which they probably won't. I had a 2014 Model S P85 and sold it with 130k miles, no issues with brakes at all. My 100D had issues since it had 19k miles when I picked it up CPO but didn't address it until July of this year.

Yeah if it costs that much better off getting MCU2 upgrade. I loved my upgrade (till I sold the car!). Just part of the "maintenance" that goes with having a modern car with a giant display. :)

It actually wasn't that noticeable, except for me. When I asked people about it, they didn't notice. Also, I sold the car and now have a 2018 MS, which Tesla did replace both headlights due to the DRL not reaching all across the headlight. Looking back at this though, it was a fun project.

I had my car at a body shop and they were able to put in a new part. I guess Tesla doesn't for liability. I feel for you.

Barely happens to me, and when it does its gradual. It's gotten a whole lot better.

If you're on FSD, they upgrade your autopilot hardware for free. Same happened to me when I took delivery of my 2018 CPO MS with FSD included, from HW 2.5 to HW 3.0.

So keeping at standard would be ideal then, for it to change from 25-65 mph? I personally like comfort, but at highway its too sensitive. Sport is too tough to comfortably turn at low speeds.

All my strikes were from highway NOA and my steering wheel slightly blocks the top display. I wish there was slight beeping as well with it. Suspended since March.

They said it’s backordered from Tesla and they keep reaching out for updates. I told them just get a used part from eBay or whatever as long as it’s not in bad condition and get it done. It comes next week. It’ll cost me less to have Tesla replace that part if needed than to pay for rental out...
