    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Cross post here from the Model S forum: It's about time to change my OEM wheels (19'' slipstream - powder coated glossy black) with Tsportline's TSS Flow Forged 19''. I've been having this dilemma (matte back vs glossy black), considering that my chrome delete is satin black and my PPF is...

    Show off your aftermarket wheels.

It's about time to change my OEM wheels (19'' slipstream - powder coated glossy black) with Tsportline's TSS Flow Forged 19''. I've been having this dilemma (matte back vs glossy black), considering that my chrome delete is satin black and my PPF is glossy. Although I love the glossy look on my...

It looks like it's available for the P100D, although not on the release notes:

    Model S Plaid

So this new “plaid” Model S broke the record at Laguna Seca by 1 second. Previous record was from Model 3 Performance... It’s actually quite disappointing and unimpressive to see only 1 second shaved off or am I missing something here?

    Software Update 2019.20.x

Got the update this morning (2019.20.1) on my 2018 Model S P100D, AP 2.5.

Collision avoidance (steering) without AP engaged

So today I was driving about 70 mph on the freeway, farthest left lane, with no Autopilot and no TACC engaged, just me in full control of the car, when I hear this motorcycle approaching at high speed and when it was about to overtake me from the right, I get this loud beep AND my steering wheel...

Album Art not displayed when streaming Spotify via bluetooth

Thanks guys. Yeah, I've noticed this issue more now that I've started using Spotify app via bluetooth (even with downloaded songs on my iPhone). I don't have this problem when I play my iTunes library via bluetooth. Not sure if this is just a glitch in their software or what, but it's definitely...

Album Art not displayed when streaming Spotify via bluetooth

I've been having this issue where I can't get the album art to display on the center screen nor the IC of my Model S (MCU 2, 2018) when streaming certain songs on Spotify from my iPhone via bluetooth. It's very inconsistent, some songs/bands show the album cover, where others don't. The album...

Did Tesla just kill the Model S 75D?

I’m surprised it took them this long re: getting rid of 75D variant.

    Need Floor Mat recommendation

Thanks for the pictures. How long have you had these? I’m a little worried about the fact they’re a bit thin - don’t want they to start curl up like the OEM ones. Those are supposed to provide a sound barrier for a quieter cabin ride. Have you noticed any difference?

    Need Floor Mat recommendation

I got my Tesla Model S P100D almost 2 months ago and I've noticed that the OEM Floor Mats really suck (as already discussed in other topics in this forum). I'm now on this quest to find really nice and comfortable mats and would like to get some feedback. From my own research, I've narrowed down...

    Ambient lights - aftermarket

I just changed my footwell lights from OEM to Abstract Ocean’s red bulbs on my 2018 Model S. Is there any way to either replace or put a (red) cap over the ambient lights - those located right under the door armrests (thin and long strip of light)? TIA

Lighted door sill plates By Norm

Can someone post a close up of the both Norm’s and tesland’s door sills? Someone mentioned earlier that Norm’s aren’t brushed steel. Would like to compare both before pulling the trigger. Thanks in advance.

Did Tesla just kill the Model S 75D?

Edit: Model 3 Performance - 64k all options included (except performance upgrade and autopilot) With the recent pricing adjustment of the performance model 3, I find it even harder to justify buying a Model S 75D... Anyone with different thoughts?

Have any P100D's with ventilated seats been delivered yet?

Any way you could upload some upclose pics, pretty please? Also, any noise when running cooling in higher settings? Thanks and enjoy your car!

Did Tesla just kill the Model S 75D?

    With last night’s announcement of the Performance Model 3, how do you justify buying a Model S 75D? Model 3 Performance: - 3.5s 0-60mph - 310 miles range - 155 mph top speed - 78k all options included (except autopilot) Model S 75D: - 4.2s 0-60mph - 259 miles range - 140 mph top speed -...

Model S range and interior update imminent?

Is it me, or that screen is a bit smaller than the giant 17'' Model S/X? Seems more like a 15'' from the pictures. I hope the new refresh doesn't come with a downsized screen...

I’m assuming HUD to replace instrument cluster?

Model S range and interior update imminent?

Makes sense in order to redesign the vents, just like the model 3. I was afraid the screen would be in landscape mode, sticking out, not integrated with the dash. I hope your source is right. :)

AC/Heater temperature control for back seats

If driver and passenger are using different temperature settings, what temperature will the passengers get in the back? Are the people in the back getting the temperature setting from the driver or the passenger? Thanks!

Don’t worry, you won’t miss it. It will be all over the place, believe me. ;)

Buy the Model S Now or Wait 3-4 months?

It depends on your current situation. I'd say if you can wait until the end of the year, beginning of next year, do it! Major updates are coming and you may regret your decision. Now if you need it, sure, go ahead and get one now while tax incentives and free supercharging are in place. I was on...

Model S range and interior update imminent?

Any hints on the screen orientation (portrait vs landscape) and its size? Will it be flush with the dashboard like current S/X or will be installed like the 3? Thanks!! ;)

Model S screen going landscape mode

So, with the imminent interior refresh of the Model S, whenever that happens, I can't help but feel worried about what they're going to do with the center screen and binnacle - my guess: changing to a center screen in landscape mode and getting rid of the binnacle (perhaps adding HUD??). I...

    100D vs. P100D 0-60

Wow, this is exactly what I was looking for!!! Thanks a lot DHG.! It's definitely a nice Christmas answer. :D This is super interesting how the P100D sport mode compares to the 100D... I've been trying to find data about how the two compare side by side in sport mode.

    100D vs. P100D 0-60

I still couldn't find the answer on those posts. The point is not to switch off ludicrous mode, I just want to know what's the difference between a P100D and a 100D, ludicrous aside. If a P100D (with no ludicrous mode enabled) races a 100D, who wins? Do they have the same acceleration?
  31. L

    100D vs. P100D 0-60

I know that Tesla advertises the Model S 100D with a 0-60mph in 4.1 seconds. The Model S P100D is supposed to get 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds using the ludicrous mode. Now my question: without the ludicrous mode enabled, will the P100D perform the same as the 100D on a 0-60??? Just curious to see the...

Model S range and interior update imminent?

Am I the only one thinking that a HUD might be in the works? That would make sense if they use the similar vent system like they have on the Model 3, getting rid of the binnacle and adding a HUD....
