I had just as dumb thing happen to me when a tech rotated my staggered wheels ‍♂️. The wheels rubbed against the suspension and the car needed to be towed back to the SVC where they replaced that rim and tires.

Its funny, I also got a cpo in Feb and its been to service 5 times now, so about the same rate as yours and its going again next week for a 12V battery and a rattle from the ateering wheel media buttons. One thing for sure, I’m not going to hold onto this car 1 day beyond the warranty.

Possible it may have been also for my trip, however we were driving with a 1.5 yo toddler that was not impreby being in a car seat for many hours to begin with. More superchargers and destination chargers make these drives not only possible, but also comfortable.

got in my car today, main screen dead so had to do a scroll wheel reset to get going. When it booted back up it said navigation system needs service and would not navigate. A few moments later old maps came back. Is there a way to reinitiate the update?

Happy they had it sorted for you! In my case they replaced the pillar, and then in another attempt they tried again to play around with the AC vents. It helped for about a couple of weeks but the rattle is back now and I am learning to live with it as my car was in service 3 times within a month...

this morning was trying to play some fm radio and when I enter that tab there is nothing other than a loading indicator. No fm or am radios just nothing. My connection was upgraded a couple of weeks back to LTE so maybe they forgot to connect the antenna back? I tried to reboot the mcu.

Intresting you mentioned that piece, I tried pressing it and thought the sound went away only to find out it continued later even if fiddling with it. Might be two similar rattles and this is half the root cause. Good point, are those locates underneath the dash?

Every car I owned to date has provided loaners at least at the trim level or above to the car that I brought to service. With Subaru I only got cars with < 1000 miles consistently for example, VW provided me with brand spanking new cars as well every time (again higher than the trim level I owned).
