You could do what people do for Montana and create an LLC in one of those states and register the car. You risk being taxed twice when you return to your home state. Consult a tax professional.

It’s been over a year since the last posts on this? Are there documented benefits to have HW3 over HW2.5? I am on Enhanced Autopilot in a late 2018 MX.

HW3 I think is a $1,000 upgrade if I pay on my own. Any known benefit to doing that if I have enhanced AP but not FSD? Would I also get blind spot in MCU?

I disagree. I think a brand new Tesla is a little different. I’ve sold 3 and never had anyone ask to take it for a test-drive. Especially when a car is under a new warranty.

General question - I have a potential buyer who is upset I am not comfortable letting her “test drive” my 2-month old Model S. I’m not comfortable with the liability concerns on an $80K car. Has anyone else just let someone test drive their Tesla when you can simply go to a Tesla store and drive...
