    Supercharger - North Bend, WA

I got up to 206 kw on my p3d. I pulled in with 9 miles of range left.

    Supercharger - Auburn, WA

Yeah I don’t want to push for that. Eventually I’d like to see charging in most parking spots, and you plug in and pay when you need it. If there were a law to require active charging to park in any charging spot, a lot operator essentially wouldn’t be *allowed* to put chargers in every spot...

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - Union Street

I stopped by this evening and everything’s still wrapped up and taped off.

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - Union Street

Went by this morning. It looks like the cabinets are in! No progress on the pedestals on level c. I was in a hurry so the picture isn’t that good, but in person the cabinets look very finished.

Dual Motor v RWD in PNW

I'd go for it just for the increased 0-60 performance :) I used to own a RWD Model S and currently own an AWD Model 3 (actually performance), and most of my driving is to and from ski resorts (I walk to work and snowboard *a lot*). I've driven in snow with each with both "all season" tires and...

Snowy Parking Lots for Track Mode

I recently got track mode on my P3D- (performance model 3 w/o the big wheels/brakes/spoiler) and want to try it out in the snow. Does anyone know of anywhere within an hour or two of Seattle that would be good for this? I'm imagining a big empty snowy/icy parking lot. I saw a few (at...

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - Union Street

I stopped by today and didn’t see any signs of construction, although it’s possible it’s deep in the valet area where I couldn’t see. On the plus side, I spent 6 minutes looking and didn’t have to pay, so we know there’s at least a 6 minute grace period to drive in and see if there’s a line...

Snow tires - Yea or Nay?

I drove in Seattle a little Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and pretty far yesterday (Monday) and while everyone else was slipping around, my 4wd 3 with snow tires was confidently plowing forward. We watched another car try to go up a hill several times and then give up and laboriously turn around...

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - Union Street

The link shows the populations of all the neighborhoods in seatte. I’m in Capitol Hill and I’m 6 blocks from this charger, and including the other neighborhoods that are a 5 minute drive from it (Capitol hill, first hill, downtown, belltown, Denny triangle, north beacon hill, and east Queen...

Supercharger - Seattle, WA - Union Street

There are almost 100,000 of us, and it’s the largest concentration of people who can’t install a charger at home in the state. It’s also the largest concentration of hotel rooms. For me and a lot of others, this will be a life changer. The Demographic Statistical Atlas of the United States -...

Real world range of Performance model?

Ah, I see you said "due to bigger wheels". I'd plan a quick stop. As you can see from the link I posted, at 80mph with the 20" wheels you'll only get about 220 miles, and that's without the heater.

Real world range of Performance model?

Which wheels you have makes a huge difference: Troy Teslike on Twitter On the (rare) occasion that I drive conservatively, my range is pretty good, but I have the 18" wheels (I have the performance model 3 without the extra performance package). If you have the 20" wheels I'd probably plan on...

    Snow Tires/Chains For Model S 19" wheels, Seattle Area - $500

Yeah, they are for the 19” wheels, and they are still available. We can chat about details directly.

    Snow Tires/Chains For Model S 19" wheels, Seattle Area - $500

I recently switched from a Model S to a Model 3, which means I no longer need my 4 Model S sized snow tires and chains. They're the Sottozero's that Tesla recommends, and they're one year old and just have one winter's use on them. Driving in snow in these is awesome, they've had several happy...

    Supercharger - Forks, WA

I did an Olympic National Park drive recently and we stayed at the Dew Drop Inn (mostly because they're dog friendly, but they also have a NEMA 14-50 outlet for guests). The person who ran the hotel said that in several months they will be putting a supercharger right in front of that hotel.
