After my problems in UK with TBC control yesterday my firmware updated overnight. Now on 1.16.2. I've switched back to TBC cost saving and will keep an eye on things. The sun is splitting the sky at the moment and everything currently appears as it should....

Thabks Neil. I spoke to customer support and they said it usually takes a few hours after switching to self-powered for it to take effect. They were right, it took a couple of hours but discharging ok now back on self-powered .

I've also got the same problem here in the UK. Charged to 100% overnight and now all the sunshine is being exported. Nothing I do makes the powerwall start providing power to the house.
