This has NOT happened to us. We signed documents for FUSC transfer on 11/27 and have kept enjoying FUSC on our old car as we wait for a VIN on a MSP

Between my 2015 P90DL ("240 miles" @ 100%) and a MSP - it'll cut off hours of my drives to Austin, TX and be able to go to LAX - SAN - LAX without charging, which is a quality of life upgrade I need badly. Just trying to be patient.

They technically can go off manufacturing date for 2023 model year like they used to pre 2018. My P90DL was manufactured Dec 12th 2015 delivered Dec 18th 2015, and was same model year as manufactured year.

2015 P90DL purchased in 2018 w/23k miles had battery replaced in less than 500 miles after delivery. Currently getting 232 miles @ 100%. No issues since.

If it's a 40 amp plug you'll only be able to use 32 amps max. You wouldn't benefit from a gen 1 umc. Gen 1 would require a 50 amp plug for 40 amps of electricity.
