What's the best place to take my vehicle for door handle repair? (East Valley/AZ)

Wanted to come back and respond here. I found a great place once your vehicle is out of warranty. https://grubermotors.com/ Gruber Motor Company got me in today, replaced my door handle for $200 and I was in and out in a hour. Highly recommended!

What's the best place to take my vehicle for door handle repair? (East Valley/AZ)

Two of my doors have door handles stuck now, I need to get them fixed. My vehicle is a 2017, so it's been out of warranty for quite a while. I rather not go back to the Tesla Service Center, as I've never had a good experience there. Does anyone recommend a local shop that can do Tesla...

    Red fluid leaking

So, I had the vehicle towed... and I learned that if you tow your vehicle to the SC, it gets fixed faster... It sat for a few days, but they finally looked at it today, while my original service appointment isn't for another week. However, they identified the issue and fixed it: "We have...

    Red fluid leaking

The Tempe Arizona SC is a joke, I already tried to push them to get me in sooner and they said nothing is available. They were awesome until the 3's came out and ever since, they are junk. They don't provider loaners anymore either, just uber vouchers.... Always fun to explain why you're...

    Red fluid leaking

Thanks all for the comments, it's gonna suck not to have a car for a few weeks but I don't want to risk making it worse. The car is 3.5 years old with 75k miles on it.

    Red fluid leaking

The spill is after about a week of the car, It's been happening for weeks and I've been cleaning it up... I took some photos of under the car... it's raining out, so probably not the best time to take photos, but the whole back middle part of the car is much darker than everything else. I...

    Red fluid leaking

Thanks... I talked to the service center, they said the soonest appointment is still 3 weeks and there's nothing they can do until then. Frustrating. It sounds like an expensive repair?

    Red fluid leaking

Does anyone know what this is? It's coming from the center back of the vehicle, model S. The service center can't get me in for 3 weeks, it's really slippery.

Does anyone know what this part is?

Took it in, it was a part of the Tesla.. My windshield was just recently replaced, they said it's a part of the windshield. Maybe the camera? Who knows.

Does anyone know what this part is?

Thanks, I'll reach out to them... I haven't had the best luck with my SC but here goes nothing ;)

This was on my passenger floor board, I'm not sure what it is or where it came from.

    AC barely blowing

I tried it again this morning and it was working again... Frustrating. I put in a service request since the next available one isn't for 3 weeks... I'm sure it'll go out again. Thanks all.

    AC barely blowing

I drove 20 minutes, car wouldn't cool under 80... Outside fans are very quiet.

    AC barely blowing

I live in Arizona, it's normal for my car to sound like a freaking airplane everytime I run the AC. However this afternoon, barely any air is blowing despite it set on 60 and everything else auto. I don't have range mode on, if I turn off auto and have the fan set at 11, it says 'Limited By...

    Front lights turning yellow

Well, that makes me sad. I assume my only option is to pay the $3k?

    Front lights turning yellow

Does anyone else have this problem? Tesla fixed them once already under warranty and now they are yellow again. Tesla quoted me $3000 to get them replaced now. They said they don't have this problem with other customers, not sure why I'm the lucky one. Excuse the dirty car, it just rained.

People think I have my high beams on

No, new. It's actually in the shop right now, I'll see if they can check it. Thanks for the heads up!

People think I have my high beams on

Does anyone else have this problem? Especially when driving on dark roads, people flash their high beams at me thinking I have mine on.

    90% battery changed overtime

That's not what they are saying - they are saying the battery hasn't degraded, it's just reporting more accurate numbers now with the latest firmware.

Front Lights Stay On (Faint) - Normal?

Wanted to provide an update - went to the service center today and they said "While the vehicle isn't sleeping, the daytime running lights will remain dim, this is normal" /shrug

    90% battery changed overtime

When I bought the vehicle, 90% charge was around 218 miles. 2 years later, 90% is 206 miles. I took it in today for them to check the battery and the tech said "This is normal, your battery didn't degrade in performance but the firmware versions are more accurate now on what 90% really is"...

Front Lights Stay On (Faint) - Normal?

Doing more testing today on it, when my car is asleep, those lights go off. If I wake up the car by logging into the tesla app, those faint lights turn on.

Front Lights Stay On (Faint) - Normal?

Thanks! Mine goes into the shop next week for excessive battery drain, will bring that up too.

Front Lights Stay On (Faint) - Normal?

The outer shell of the lights (screenshot added with an arror) stay on, but it's very faint... I only can notice when I walk into my pitch dark garage.. I tried to take a picture but it was too dark. Is it normal for those to stay on?

Battery drain 10-20 miles every 24 hours

Ah - very interesting! Thanks, I'll disable that and see if it helps.

Battery drain 10-20 miles every 24 hours

Howdy, Currently running 2019.32.11.1 on my Model S 75. I have sentry mode turned off, pre-conditioning turned off, overheat protection turned off, energy mode on and always connected 'Off'. Dropped off my tesla at the airport last week and noticed I was losing anywhere from 10 to 20 miles...

    Should I wait?

Yeah, range is my motivation here... but again, I don't want to buy a model 3 with 300 mile battery if they release a model 3 with 400 mile battery next year..

    Should I wait?

I currently have a 2017 Model S (75) which has a battery life of about 205 miles... I'm thinking of trading my S in for a 3 to get more battery... but wondering if now is the right time to get a 3... Has anyone heard if there are any big changes to the 3 coming out within the next year? I...

    Loud fan noise

Update: I took my vehicle in, and the compressor fan needed to be replaced.
  30. O

    Loud fan noise

Thanks - it is indeed the AC. The noise is a loud pitch noise, not usual fan noise that you would expect from the AC. Just confirming the loud pitch is normal?
  31. O

    Loud fan noise

Lately, perhaps due to it getting warmer again, there is a loud fan noise that I notice when the car is idling or going at slow speeds. I've taken a short video of it pulling into my garage - is this normal behavior? Dropbox - IMG_9150.MOV

    Software Update 2018.16

After the update, my S wouldn’t charge. Said there was a fault in the power adaptor. Unplugged it from the car a few times, still failed. I unplugged it from the wall and replugged it in and it seems to work now. Odd, hopefully it was just a glitch.
