My experience was very good with a 90D order in late April. I ordered on a Tuesday and got it delivered to my house on Friday. My car was local and I was prepared to drive and pick it up (thinking it would speed things up). But Tesla took good care of me.

I wrapped my aero covers with a chrome film. It's been almost two years now, and still in great shape.

That's what I got for my front bumper too. And, yes, it was tricky. Congrats on perservering through it. If you were able to do the front bumper (which needs protection most), why don't you go ahead and do the full hood and sides? Those are EASY compared to the bumper. I just got bulk...

Coastal: You should think about PPF for your doors in addition to the front bumper. They'll protect against doors hitting your car in the parking. DIY on the doors is super easy. I did it, looks great, and I don't worry about public parking any more. Will cost about $80 per door.

Mine is now also doing the same thing. Tesla Support says they're researching it.... I'm at 2018.4.9

I did a DIY install of PPF on our red Model 3 when we got it in Feb. I did the front 3/4 of the car fully. Bought a computer cut kit for the front bumper, which is super complicated. The hood, all 4 doors, front quarter panels were done with bulk sheets bought from a SUPER vendor on ebay...

Just over 2,000 miles on our Model 3, and we're getting 227 wh/mi lifetime. Normal driving, not hypermiling. We also go over a 900 ft hill on every time, so there's at least 2,000 ft of elevation each trip. Best efficiency of the 4 EVs we've owned, even though it's the most powerful...
