The stickers you are issued are based on when they are issued, not when you register the car. You can buy a used 2014 Model S today and get a sticker valid for 4 years on 1/1/20 so long as it has not been issued HOV stickers before, model year of the car is irrelevant.

Don’t bother asking about this at the Santa Clara service center, they arrogantly told me no one has ever had their dash replaced due to these scratches and it is all user error (which is true to some extent, but the dash is extremely fragile).

I had a similar problem. Fixed it by powering off the car through a reset (holding steering wheel buttons and brake) and also through the power off option in the car menu and waiting a few minutes to turn it back on. Has slept normally since then (as observed through teslafi).

Traffic piece means in the premium interior on the map you see a visualization of the traffic, like google maps would, reds, oranges, yellow for where there is traffic. On the non premium you cannot see the traffic but the navigation will use traffic information in determining the route.

I really don't know. I was expecting problems based on this thread. I have always kept BT turned on and I do use a BT smart watch so I don't know if that plays into keeping the BT radio more active.

To add my experience to the thread. I use a Galaxy S8+. I have had 100% success with using the phone as a key since I picked up the car on Saturday. I have not had to use the keycard once nor have I had any delays when opening the car.

To update - got an email and phone call from the ISA on 4/25/2018. Picking up the car in Fremont on 4/28/2018. Could've chosen tomorrow, 4/27/2018 but I think it would be too tight with my financing funds. So for all of you guys near the factory, the process is really quick once you get your VIN.
