I'm confused, do you have the car? I.e., can you pay the car outright and then get £35K back from the energy savings trust or do you need to wait until they send £35K to Tesla to get the car?

I plan to get the energy savings trust loan for my model 3 if the scheme still runs next year. I'm bracing for the pain in the butt it involves :(
