I really do not understand how people do it. Maybe if you own a Prius or Honda Civic, then you can put a lot of miles on it and maybe they never have issues? But any other car and its a lot for very little return.

Anyone actually tried to fit them? I have Model S 19 wheels with snow tires, and I would just like to use those on my Model 3 for a road trip...But on the fence about getting spacers. But it would be a lot cheaper than buying a whole new set of wheels and snow tires...=/...Safety first...but...

Ya I really have no excuse for breaking that clip. I was telling myself not to even do it without a flat head, then snap off it went. I just left the clip plugged in. I will have to have it replaced when I have the LDU rebuilt.

This is somewhat expected for older Model S if it is cold outside and the battery is cold. I would recommend to drive the car for at least 30 minutes before getting to a supercharger and even then the rates will still not be great. And also arrive below 20%. Anything else outside of these two...

I am having this same issue and not sure how to troubleshoot it. I was thinking maybe I wire it up to a switch on the dash and manually open it when I know the car needs it during supercharging in the heat of the summer. Anyone tried that?

Looks good to me. Best you can do in that tight space. Beats not being able to drive the car.

Just a follow up to this bulb change post...My left bulb goes out randomly sometimes. So will replace it shortly. But here are some shorts of how the light looks like in action. Looks the same or better than OEM to me.

@LonelyMS I am with you on holding onto my Model S...since it has free super charging. If you can find a P100D with free SuC then its gold. Just be prepared to spend money on suspension parts if you drive a lot. But that may be the same case with the new Model S too. Because of free SuC, I go on...

At 141,686 miles. So after driving around with the roof rack and roof cargo box for while, and on one(1) long road trip. I am pleased to report that the efficiency of the car isn't dramatically worse. Honestly if I am able to get behind an SUV, then it is almost like the roof rack and cargo box...

I almost didn't see the damage. I would just keep driving the car as is. Now you dont have to worry if someone scratches it. Drive it till the wheels fall off. But I would still value it at $20,000 to $25,000.
