I understand tire pressure gets low in the cold and adjust itself with driving. The last few weeks, since temperature has dropped, tire pressure is at 36 and there’s an alert. Within 10 minutes of driving it becomes 37 and alert goes away. My question is, it wouldn’t cause any damage to drive...

I love my midnight silver. It hides dirts very well. I would get white if you like to de-chrome and darken the wheeles. MS as you said it, it has more classy look without any changes to the exterior. I am still debating to de-chrom or not.

You can disable the feature.

Expect to lose about 6 miles if the cabin protection is on. Mine was losing 8-15 with cabin protection off. The update fixed it.

I have not. I also want to dechrom my midnight silver. I used vinyl for center console and was pretty easy. My concern is if the outside temperature is greater than 100 degrees, would the wrap come off if I install it using just a hair dryer ?

Update: Turning off the cabin overhead protection is not the solution. It’s been off and today lost 10miles parked in a garage over 12 hours (temp around 85-90 outside). Any other thoughts?

10-15miles is about how much charge I lose. That’s actually more than my commute (5miles). What is crazy is that I lose that much overnight when temperature is around mid 70s and parking in the garage at work. Thanks for sharing the video.

That’s cool. I have noticed driving through city gives me better efficiency. I only use break at stops. Autopilot similar to cruise will use more energy. I don’t have autopilot.

The cup holder is the easiest part. Just heat the vinyl and use finger to press in the gap and it will show where to cut.

I actually don’t have any files. I did it old school. Took a piece of paper and placed over it and used a pencil to measure. This was before I found out rpmtesla has precut ones. I bought mine from amazon for $13 and comes with all the equipments you need. It’s a lot easier than it looks.

I wish we could submit suggestions to tesla. For example, it would be very helpful if the map could show local charging stations. A good example is Plugshare.

I do agree that my Model 3 is slower after the update.
