Our 2021 Model S Plaid had this issue as well. The fix was to replace the in-cabin camera with an updated part that has better shielding so as not to interfere with the GPS antenna.

I hear the same noises when I walk near the car with my phone in my pocket. The car seems to wake up even though I don’t have walk up unlock enabled. Turning off Bluetooth on the phone and closing the Tesla app seems to work but is inconvenient. However, obviously, the less the car wakes up...

I just got 2018.4.8 this morning as well. (VIN 47xx) I was on 2018.4.6 which was applied at a Service Center last week. I don't see any apparent changes either. (Same release notes.) Hoping it's related to EAP as speculated by some others but I'm guessing it's just bug fixes.

Personally, I believe most doors are more comfortably opened by using the right hand for the passenger side doors and the left hand for the driver side. We got used to the Model 3 handles pretty quickly. But it still confuses "guest riders". :)
