I used Supreme Power in Fullerton, did a great job on my X and 3. Factory alignment on both cars was off, showed me the computer while aligning. Tech took me for a test drive after to make sure I was happy.

I hope so too! After reading an earlier thread I’m worried mine (11/29/23 build) won’t have it. Logical the cars with the camera button on the steering wheel will, maybe those cars got the harness talked about earlier. But I do know I have wiring that’s taped under the door’s trim pieces.

I had a born date of 11/29, took delivery 12/3. Would have been able to pic up 12/1. My delivery center is about 7 hours from Fremont.

Hope you’re right but the likely culprit is this is a temp sensor. I have it on my 11/29 build. Check out page 243 of this forum.

Not sure if it helps, my Dec build X has the wiring. Had to have one of the panels replaced; was looking for the wiring and didn’t see it. Tech found it, taped behind the trim piece.

Just upload proof of insurance on any of your vehicles.

They hounded me for payment, I waited until I picked up. Wanted the check before I was taken out to my car. Politely declined paying until I inspected and they were totally cool with it. Before I hit accept in the app I had to hand over check.

I removed the plastic cover/shroud. The inside of the shroud also has crushable styrofoam to create another seal. Curious if this design is the same on the newer S. Doesn’t make much sense the X is designed entirely different than the S for Tesla’s economy of scale.

I know on my X (2018) it had the vent opening. My 2023 3 (June build) has a vent opening

Just want to confirm, took delivery 12/3 MXP. Looks like the design was fixed, no vents under the frunk. Looks like the hepa intake is under all the plastic and grabs its air behind the “tub” void.

I know the pre refresh S/X were dependent on the server and app running, I’ve locked myself out of my old 18’ X, the X wouldn’t connect to cellular service. Aren’t the refreshes working off of the phones Bluetooth so it doesn’t matter if Tesla servers are down?

It does look like a temp sensor, the key is earlier builds….my newly built 3 (I know a totally different car) doesn’t have a temp sensor here.

In all fairness who knows if that picture is a final production, i haven’t seen one in person. Lovely thing about Tesla no one ever knows especially service advisors 😂

I’m not here to defend either way, most probable is it isn’t a camera harness, but who knows, here’s a pick of a cybertruck. Also camera itself could have a pigtail

Submit a service ticket, can’t hurt. When I took delivery in 2018 the computer didn’t show mine as delivered. But I know their system is a bit different now having to accept on your app. Give it a shot

Usually that’s the case, I picked up 12/3, it had a weird 23.100. something. My other Tesla never had that edition. That night it had an update pending and it was the latest 44.1. I was a little surprised

Final details helps your MVPA for your records and if your financing your financial institution will want their name on the MVPA, at least mine did today.

Leave it alone, you can pay with the check when you pick up…I’d recommend inspecting the vehicle first before handing over the check also.

I saw that one congrats! I have the tax credit build, was told by a Tesla rep AC is the same on all configurations now. Pre refresh the 5 seater had a less inferior system. But we all know how much Tesla employees actually know. I’d grab the 7 seater if it wasn’t essentially $9500 more.

What year is your x?

I’m curious also, when I ordered my 2018 you had to get a 6 or 7 seater in order to have independent controls. It noted on the order page, now that’s missing so I presume all seating arrangements have the same ac setup

Anyone know how to prevent or repair the scratches on the door seals? I can’t get my family to lift their feet up and over so their shoes are rubbing the top causing scratches.
