It appears the wall connector installation guide makes no such note about sharing with just the other Gen2 J1772 units. I sure hope it does share with other Gen2 as that's the reason I want this unit...
Msjulie, Just replying to your last post since it's at the bottom. Thank you! I'm not sure if it was your letter but I just installed the 24.4 also and the disable stuck this time!! I'm so thrilled with this option, very glad the folks who want it on can keep it and those of us who it has...
I had the same thought as you about Electrek, especially since I see a 'glowing' article about ELDA about once every couple of weeks.. I'd love to see one focus on some of us having major issues so they'll give us a permanent off switch. Have you reached out to them?
I won't go that route personally because I think so highly of what Tesla is trying to do and hope they can resolve this quickly (as quickly as they caused it).
My issue is around this whole escalation process and "No Downgrade" policy. I work with technology companies every day, when there's a...
I'm about into certified letter territory since I can't get a reasonable response.

I have a rear wheel car and it doesn't seem too hard to fight if you get past the alarm sound. Do you have a dual motor? I know from the dual motors I've driven, the steering is much heavier. I wonder if they're harder to fight.
You may be on to something, the roads I'm on have overhanging weeds and trees very close to the road. Every time ELDA (I have LDA off) reacts it's a major tug and alarm. I've yet to see it do a silent bump in my car.
I think it has to do with the steering wheel force detection. Sometimes I'm holding the wheel steering lightly enough that the car doesn't 'register' that I'm holding the wheel and ELDA intervenes. Same goes for autopilot, sometimes when I'm on autopilot I get flashed at to "Hold the wheel"...
I've lit them up through multiple channels about this and get no real response. Talked to a few techs who referenced they hadn't even heard of it or thought I was talking about when Autopilot was enabled.. I don't think anyone knew what this feature did before it was released.
It's funny, I was so excited this update fixed the rear camera delay issue! I've reported the ELDA issues to Tesla by email and service, hopefully 16.3 gives us a permanent disable option.
Just adding another negative to the ELDA feature here. We live on one-lane roads and ELDA freaks out when it sees grass on the side of the road or when I have to get off to let someone pass. The biggest issue isn't just the nudging but the loud as hell warning that makes you lose concentration...
Unfortunately it’s time to sell my 2013 P85 Model S with 43,511 miles. This car is in excellent condition and has been extremely well cared for. I am the second owner and I’ve had no major issues with the car. Last month, Tesla replaced the passenger-side airbag per the active recall.
Just...
Picked up our M3 on Thursday, the volume bumped up unexpectedly about 2 or 3 times, never again that day (or Friday). Today the whole screen view has been moving quite a bit, same issue you've had Yitt, in the garage it's a dance party. Ended up putting the screen into "Clean Mode" which seems...
