I have a September 2021 order that was originally LR but I changed to plaid mid Feb. had a date range of March 8-31 last week but then switched to July. They’ve seemed to stop producing plaids at the moment, not sure when it’ll resume. Curious if any other plaids have a date range or VIN

What’s your configuration ? These EDD bounces are so ridiculous. Typical Tesla and poor communication. Is there a monkey behind some computer hitting buttons randomly on peoples EDD’s?

I don’t believe anything these Tesla salespeople say. They apparently have no information beyond what’s in the system and there’s no communication with the factory whatsoever. I’ll bet your X is coming before July, hoping the same for mine.

For those of you guys financing, are you waiting until you have a VIN to apply for the Tesla financing? My March 8-31 range is approaching, but I'm not sure I believe it yet, so I'm inclined to wait. But will I not be assigned a VIN if I haven't completed that task?

Wonder why Tesla is calling some people and not others? I have an EDD of March 8-31, total crickets. Tesla customer service reps are completely useless as we all know.

The software and touchscreen is far superior on the model X than the EQS. I could care less about the 100 ambient lighting colors on the EQS and the opulent materials, performance and software/tech way more important to me, but to each their own.

What do plaid owners think of the acceleration ? Must be insane given that LR owners seem to think it’s insanely fast! Do you guys daily drive in plaid mode or keep it on sport or chill ?

For those who have gotten a VIN, do you just notice it when you checked your app or did you get a text? Also curious for VINners, what time of day did you get your VIN (early AM? Evening?) trying to see if there is a pattern of when they assign them.

That’s amazing. I did the same experiment and ordered a plaid a few days ago — my LR order from September 2021 says July. Let’s see what comes first. They seem to be pushing plaids much quicker nowadays.

like a few of you guys I am trying the “experiment” of ordering a Plaid in addition to my LR (LR ordered 9/3/2021, Plaid ordered 2/16/21). EDD says July for my LR, the plaid said October, but today the plaid switched to TBD. Has that happened to anyone? Not sure what to make of it.

Make sure cabin overheard protection is off. That was a big source of drain for my model S for months, before I realized it.
