Dang, sorry to hear that. It's unfortunate, but that seems to fit the seller's other shady behavior (like keeping up the other ads while this sale was pending). She probably knew what was going to happen with the inspection and was just hoping to slip it through.

It's possible the seller is just covering herself until the car is actually sold, or maybe eBay even auto-relisted. Even so, it's not a good look. Makes everything seem fishy unnecessarily. FWIW, the phone number on the Autotrader and latest Craigslist ad match up, so that's worth something...

Original purchaser already gets the federal tax credit, right? So this opportunity for a buyer is more to jump the line and forego the tax credit? Not criticizing the sale, just wanted to clarify that bit.

I should probably note that I've owned a Nissan Leaf for the past six years, so I'm pretty familiar with EV purchasing and ownership (though obviously that's very different than a Tesla).

Is it odd that deliveries are now showing as June, which is like 4 months out? I just thought it was curious because I've been peeking at custom built MS's for a couple months, and they've always been about 60 days out to deliver according to the design studio. That seems to be the ballpark...
