I'd second this desire. I've had the 3D mats in my 18 Model S, but just sold it and got a 23 S and was looking for new ones. I was just going to purchase the 3D but they are going for $240 on Amazon and the Tesla ones are $250 as the OP mentioned. So I'd love to find ones similar to the 3D ones...

Mine is changed to "high" as well prior to pulling in to my driveway. It's weird though that this doesn't happen often even though it changes to "high" every time I pull in. Maybe I'll contact my local service center and take the video with me to show them since it's impossible to reproduce
