July 18th will be my 4th year with the car. I received a message on June 30 about a battery issue. Tesla mobile service came out the same day and changed it out at no charge. Apparently there is a parts shortage but the technician was able to find one. I was prepared to pay but no charge...

Took the plunge and bought a spare from Modern Spare. Total piece of mind traveling Point Arena / Fort Bragg area.

Fort Bragg Supercharger was as advertised. Great place to charge. We also used Chargepoint in Point Arena. I only charged there for one hour but enough for us to travel throughout the area. North Coast Brewing Company was great!

Thank you for the great tips. Piaci pub and the rest of the recommendations much appreciated. Since you know Fresno I would imagine Point Arena and Fort Bragg weather is very different. Looking forward to the trip.

I planned to go to Fort Bragg in 2020 but my trip to Point Arena was cancelled due to Covid restrictions. I am headed up there from Fresno in late May. I have never been to that area....this seems like the only Supercharger in the area. I would assume I would be using a J1772 around Point...

Update: The problem has been resolved. Park assist is now working. It turns out my hitch installer forgot to connect the sensor from my bumper. The installer was great about the resolution as took me in at 7:15 am (shop opens at 8:00 am) and I was out by 8:15 am. The issue still persisted...

I just had an Eco hitch installed and started receiving Park Assist Unavailable. Is it possible that the installer forgot to connect the sensor? When I called them and asked the installer was not sure so I am going back on Thursday 8/12 to have them check. I never received this message...

My car is doing the same thing now. I just had my front windshield replaced and immediately afterwards it started pulling to the left when on autopilot. My invoice states recalibration. Could this have something to do with it?

Update: Thanks to the advice from this forum I used my Tesla app to set-up my appointment for today. I just picked up my M3 from Tesla service and I now have HW3! It took a few miles (10-15) for my autopilot cameras to fully calibrate. I am now downloading some required maps at home on WiFi...

I bought a 65” TV this past November. It was an LG OLED from Costco. Folded down the back seat and it fit perfectly! Of course I had measured before so no surprises. Who would have thought no need to rent a truck but my M3 did the job. Good luck!

I like your set-up. I was concerned with the wire getting pulled out from the bottom accidentally but I notice you have a locknut on top and bottom. I take it you can find that in the electrical section at HD? Thanks.

I also like the look of the piano black so I had it wrapped with clear Expel. This stuff works well. I had one shop blow dry it to remove the scuff marks and it looks like new. I had mine installed in 2018 and it still looks good.

That sucks and I am sorry to hear that. Lessons learned for me as I always get things in writing when possible. This way at least I have some legal recourse or at least it makes it easier. Good luck to you.

You would need to ask them not me. Since I am not the one who paid 8k upfront. I could only comment on my situation. I will say they took it on the chin paying that much for something that was or has not been delivered yet.

I ended up getting 3M Crystalline 20 on the rear and back sides. I believe 70 on the front sides. If there was a Crystalline 30 I think I would have preferred that but the only other option was 40 which was too light in my opinion.

Not a good day for anyone who waited in line for the Model 3. This sucks. Either car prices get slashed or EAP and FSD prices get reduced for those who did not purchase it. For those folks who paid $8k I feel for you. If you paid even more due to "post purchase prices" I don't know what to say.

This is exactly why I did not buy FSD...who the hell knew when it would be available. I did pay $5k for Enhanced Autopilot back in July 2018 but if I had waited until today I think I would have had both Autopilot and FSD for $4k. Why doesn't Tesla just refund us early adopters the difference...

I bought the same kit. One pad is enough and yes it comes as a kit with pads. At least mine did. The price online is good but in-store is not the same price. Just my experience and they would not match the price. I purchased online then did a pick up at the store.
