The issue is that in PTD you can still disable mobile app access. Which is really why most people use valet Mode on a regular basis. In valet Mode, you cannot disable it. First thing thieves do is disable that.

I only knew because they messed up the loan application. It said 97k. When I called my CPO agent he confirmed that was the original sticker price and would have it fixed.

Yeah it was the longest 30 days of my life. Never have I bought a car this expensive but also site unseen. It was scary for sure, but a Tesla has been my dream car for a long time, so it was worth the risk.

That's interesting about the down payment. My CPO afeag told me 10% minimum was required on top of the $1000 deposit. Maybe it's different depending on the state.

You're paying more because Tesla refurbishes the car to almost brand new and rewarrant it with a 2 or 4 year warranty. I would never buy a used Tesla from a dealer because it won't get refurbished, any problems it currently has will become my problems and I would never get my Tesla serviced...
