An obvious location in East Pasadena would be near Foothill, somewhere between Sierra Madre Villa and Michillinda. Lots of big stores around there, plenty of places to eat, and very convenient for the I-210.

Thanks to some help from elsewhere, the solution for the API login was to set username to "installer", rather than to my email address. All features are still available, from what I can tell.
