FYI: My SA today on my 112XXX VIN stated that it includes heated steering wheel, center console but that the updated headlights are only for Performance models right now.

And, me, sitting on a recently provided 112XXX VIN on my order page. :sadge:

Is there someplace that has a reference to these model updates and the VIN range where they have been confirmed? For example, heated steering wheel confirmed on VINXXXXXX, new console confirmed on VINXXXXXX, etc.

A first-night March 2019 reservation holder, and never has there been a delivery date estimate on my order/reservation page. As of today, I now see a delivery estimate of February 28 - March 20. No VIN.

I was wondering the same, and if this (not to speculate) could be in response to issues in the early deliveries.

FYI: picked up my M3 in Dedham yesterday. I had the scale model M3 in my center console. For what it’s worth, I am part of the unwashed masses (I.e. online reservation holder).

Finally took ownership of my first (and likely not last) Tesla at the Dedham store today. Was very pleased with the fit and finish and the quality of the detailing performed. And, was very happy that they are still giving the 1/43 scale Model 3s to owners. I hope everyone else who has waited...

I have been told that due to the delays in providing final contract paperwork, Tesla is accepting personal checks at time of delivery. you might want to ask about this option.

When I had access to my VIN, I logged into USAA and added the VIN and start date/delivery date — hopefully, it doesn’t change. @Faustic Did your ISA confirm that the VIN is the same, or just that you had a VIN?

VIN is no longer appearing in my account page as of today (although, delivery date still is). I have seen reports of this before, and it has ended up with delayed delivery and assignment of a different VIN. Hopefully, my ISA will reach out today before I am forced to chase him down.

Did someone update the checklist with “Check to make sure car didn’t fall off truck”?

The Sheet (tm) was pretty good at predicting for me. I got my VIN on 5/14 and have a delivery scheduled for 6/1. For Massachusetts, The Sheet (tm) estimates that VIN to delivery has been 23-24 days. So for me, I am looking at 18 days (unless there are unexpected delays between now and June 1st).

Drove behind a blue model 3 for about 15 miles on 90-W last evening. I feel sorry for the person I was on the phone with at the time, because all I talked about was how special the car was. Hopefully I am taking delivery of my own before the end of this month.

Update: My ISA just did the initial reach out via email (1 day after VIN), with the boiler-plate information about providing registration information, insurance information, etc.

Did you reach out proactively (if so, how and who did you call/email) or did the ISA send an email or call you? I have yet to be contacted about receiving a VIN yesterday and wasn’t sure if it made sense to call or email someone, or just wait.

Just got my VIN assigned today, so it is possible that the first real-live Model 3 I see (up close and) in person will be my own. Hoping it’s not too long before I am making the trip to Dedham to take delivery.
