Looks like a lot of focus for last minute west coast cars which makes sense due to quick deliveries for the EOQ. Starting to lose faith after losing my VIN and only a week out to be in my 3 day delivery window.

That’s what I’m afraid of with my VIN disappeared this morning. About 7 days to figure it out until my EDD window.

So I was assigned a VIN yesterday. Set up insurance etc yesterday. Waking up this morning, the Vin is gone from the app and website? EDD is still the same 3 day window?

How can you tell if your new VIN was previously rejected? How do some get a VIN for 404 vs a 399 on the same day etc?

SA just replied back and confirmed all the items! Pumped!

Finally received my VIN and delivery window 23-26 of March! VIN : Fremont 399.. I assume this has the latest goodies AMD, lithium 12v etc? I put a text in to my SA , but they haven’t replied yet.

At this rate I’m fine with that. The latest Fremont cars appear to be very well built.

I bank with USAA and their rate is 2.24 as of today and discounted to 1.99 if you use autopay which I do. I will probably go this route. I would like to explore DCU, but I have zero experience with them and having to DD to get the rate turns me off.

Possibly.. I think a lot of eyes will be there during the ramp up. Folks are expecting better built cars than Fremont, ie Shanghai. Plus I’d rather roll my chances with 4680 cells vs the 2170s.

Ended up swapping my Legrand for the Bryant 9450r. Much more solid of an outlet, just handling it. Should provide peace of mind now. The SS701 plate fit great. Purchased from Grainger..fast shipping. Now to keep waiting for the car.

I bet the initial Texas produced cars will have a lot of eyes and scrutiny placed on them. Probably more in fact than after ramp up. I have zero qualms about taking delivery.

I feel the same. If it means a possible Texas order I don't mind waiting a month for the manufacturing improvements that will come from cars being made here. I don't necessarily think they will have the 4680 battery ramp up and going, but if I can at least get the AMD chip, dual pane windows...

My EDD for Blue MYP with White interior just went from Feb13-March 13 to today Mar7-31. Hopefully more time for me to get the AMD and other improvements. Perhaps Giga Austin?
